The ship technically is Cerberus's.
Hmm, musing at work....people are looking at me funny. Better get back to work then
Even if Cerberus reconstructed the Normandy, it is still a prototype military ship, they could do it because they procured themselves the plans which probably came from the time when Cerberus was a black ops branch of the Alliance... So the ship and it's blue prints don't really belong to Cerberus and I think if Shepard comes back and hands the Normandy over to the Alliance, Cerberus has no claim on it.
It's like when you work for a firm all the work you put in there isn't yours it belongs to the company and if you leave it, it's likely the firm will ask you to leave your files behind and you're not allowed to copy them. This would be twice as true for the military.
I can see both Shepard going back over to the Alliance with the ship and demand she gets captain of it, or just steals the thing too as she may be completely fed up with answering to authority who will either not believe anything she says or does, or try to manipulate her.

Some Kaidan love!

Good to see the article...but I disagree with what was said about default Shep and Nathan Drake being better looking...I think Kaidan is an absolute doll. I would take my Femshep to talk to him on the Normandy when I knew he wasn't going to have anything else to say just so I could look at him.
Well its an apples to oranges comparison. MaleShep and Drake are PCs are they not? Crushing on maleShep or Drake would be rather narcissistic.
Funny thing, I have one of the standard ME2 wallpapers on my desktop. My mom (59 years old) comes over for a visit and looks at my screen and says : 'Oh, who's that handsome guy' Pointing to Shepaloo. Followed up by 'What movie is that? Looks nice." Had to explain a thing or two, but still made me laugh.
Part of me wonders what she would have said if I had a decent Kaidan wallpaper. Ingame comparison gives Kaidan the edge over Shepaloo. But that's a personal preference
I can admit to my bias...physically Kaidan is my type...build and the dark hair...all exactly what I go for...what I married in fact...when he was younger.
I've got a Kaidan screenshot on my desktop but it has more than just Kaidan in it. Hubby hasn't said anything but I bet he would if it was shirtless Kaidan.

Yeah, I think if you give TIM the boot at the end it's like Jack said...the ship is yours. But I could also see Shep giving it back to the Alliance as a goodwell gesture along with the stipulation that she is in charge of it.
It's snowing here...how an I gonna get to the bank...I live in the deep south...it never snows here...geez.

But I had to say something,
with regards to the question of nudity .............. HELL YES!!!!!!!
What are you guys thinking stuff taste I want a nekkid Kaidan and I want him now!!!!
I actually think Kaidan dancing around the bedroom, swinging his ...... well you know .... would be hilarious! Sex doesn't always have to be serious, I like most girls, like a man who can make me laugh and if he's naked at the same time, well, even better I say!
Oh and,

Thane: Shepard removes her shirt, it sails through the air like a leaf. My heart leaps in my chest like a wounded bush swallow that has been ensnared by a caracal. She approaches me and slides my bat cloak off of my arms. Fear. I am fearful that she has felt the shoulderpads that are present in the cloak. Shepard whispers. Whispers and calls me "Kaidan". I sigh; is this a pet name like Siha?
Joker: Yeaaahhh..... you might want to look into that.....

The DA love scene was a little silly. I found myself looking away in embarrassment just because it was done so strangely.
They wear their underoos for crying out loud!
See, *this* is why two Grey Wardens find it nigh impossible to have children...
I almost pee-ed myself! Which was embarssing as I was watching my class do at test at the time!

First visit to the Citadel one, where the 3 of you enjoy the view of the Citadel and a dialogue ensues. Opposite Flux in the Wards.

What they do need though is more shirtless Kaiden though~ It's a shame he's the same rank as you now- you won't be able to order him to whip it off. They need more shirtless men in the series in general. You know, to balance out the crotchless pants that the asari dancers wear.

I admit that I miss his input sometimes. Plus, I'd romance Kaiden before Liara, even as a male Shepard. He was gentle, smart, and mature, unlike the dull and clueless Liara.
Good luck, Kaiden fans!

I've always loved that scene and it's one of the few times you get to have a conversation with multiple crew members at the same time. I'd love to have more of these types of moments. I always find it a little frustrating for my party to be having a conversation and it's like I"m not even there!
Ok, now I've got to start catching up on this thread (and the progress of shirtless Kaiden) ! I'm a day....or at least an evening behind.

Please, Kaiden fans, offer your support on the "Have Liara die in DLC" thread.
Can't do it, Liara is part of the original LI pack deal, can't wish her demise in good conscience, and I like her she's my bra, my bramance!
lolz...
edit: You know what I don't like about all the new Liara hate? Is that in game Shepard can be a total jackass if you want, male or female, but poor Liara grows a spine and gets bitter and all of a sudden people hate her? Honestly it's refreshing, I wan't too keen on her wide eyed innocence in ME1 at least now she's growing. I'm sure she'll calm down in ME3 and be better for it. Pain has a way of making you a worst or better person, but I think Liara, Kaidan and Ash are all strong enough to come out on top better then ever.

I have a full Adept Paragon, though, that won't even vaguely wander and will consider Horizon just a fight that couples have. It's my more complex Vanguard that has a problem with him.

I expect Kaidan to do a bit better as more people find this...but LOL at how many people have put him in as the worst character in the ME universe. Really??? Much like Alistair in DA:O, some people (coughBOYScough) have a huge problem with "nice" guys in video games. They need to get over it.
