On topic, I hope we have the chance to turn Kaidan renegade again. My renegade Shep was considering cheating, but none of the new LIs are very interesting. Corrupting Kaidan was fun for her.

plus... do you want to see Kaidan angry? He's one of the few that survived an illegal biotic training progam, and killed a turian general with a kick, and broke the guy's neck killing him instantly...
Which in turn got the program among other things shut down.
Me personally... I don't want to see Kaidan's angry side.

Also I reloaded to see what the romance option is like and honestly I didn't like Shepard's response to him and he's just so sweet!

What do you think ME3 will bring for Shepard/Kaiden?
I know that Kaiden doesn't get enough love on the forums
So post here with all the luv!

Honestly, my "main" Shepard is paragon to the max, so I understand what you're saying, but if you've tried making Kaidan renegade in ME1, you'll find that it's pretty subtle, he just gets pissed at the council and is more "pro-human" near the end. I personally like angry, emotional Kaidan (as long as he's not mad at my Shep
Yes, I'm weird that way.

That said, I was tempted to run into the arms of Garrus, seeing as how he's great. But as it was already said, the only flaw with Garrus is that... he's not Kaidan.

Of course there isn't any closure, it is part 2 of the trilogy. They're setting up a conflict for resolution in ME3. Honestly, their reaction is perfectly understandable. You're now working with an organization that murdered Admiral Kahoku, and tried to breed the Rachni and Thorian Creepers that you spent last game fighting against. Kind of a shock to them, wouldn't you think?LovelyKatzy wrote...
It just bothers me to no end that the ME1 LI's were such a let down in ME2. There was just no closure.

Oh how I wish that had been an option. I think I could have convinced Joker to help me snag the Normandy II as well. *sighs wistfully*

Then again, if Shepard asked, I'm sure he'd snag the Normandy, too. Working for Shepard always makes doing the Alliance's bidding more fun.
... they'd still have to deal with TIM, Miranda, and all of the secret cameras on the Normandy, though.

Yeah, I didn't like renegade Kaidan all that much...I actually thought that it might matter in ME2 if you turned him but as far as I know it didn't.
And who ever was talking about Kaidan's bootie...I totally agree...I loved those shots of his backside.

I'm betting a lot of people wished they had that option even if the person they talked to on Horizon wasn't their LI...I hate working for Cerberus. Making sure I don't do their mission for their lost operative because it says in the journal if it isn't done that it could hurt Cerberus...so I want to do what I can to bring them down.
If you talk to EDI you find out the operation acts like a terrorist cell...and she's blocked from giving you any information...even how Cerberus obtained the plans for the Normandy.

But my basis for getting Joker to come with me (and the Normandy) is that I died saving his butt. He owes me, and I would totally pull that card if I had to (and could have left with Kaidan on Horizon). It's a low card to pull, but I'd take Renegade points for it happily.

Kaidan's bum FTW! I loved the lift rides in ME1, gave me a chance to get a really good look, zooming in was fun too :-p (I'm very sad I know)
Have no fear, you're not alone in that. I'm guilty of zoming in on the Kaidan bum too!

Am I the only one that likes his hair? It's a lil poofy in the back, but I'm a sucker for a pompadour...
Can't say it's ever really bothered me, I tend to go for spikey like my avatar but I never found his hair particularly offensive, but then again I

His hair never bothered me any. I like short hair that has enough room to run your fingers through. Kaidan's certainly fits that bill!
Yeah, I was curious as to whether they'd change his hair in ME2, but I'd rather they leave it alone than make him have a bad military cut...like the super short, shaved to the skin on the sides cut. Yech!

Ah, but EDI is quick to assist you later on in game. I think you gain her "trust" so to speak. I actually loved EDI, and the EDI/Joker dynamic.
But my basis for getting Joker to come with me (and the Normandy) is that I died saving his butt. He owes me, and I would totally pull that card if I had to (and could have left with Kaidan on Horizon). It's a low card to pull, but I'd take Renegade points for it happily.
I haven't got anything against EDI...she was my favorite new character and I love her with Joker...the block isn't EDI's doing...It's TIM's. If they can ever break through the block then they can get the information. EDI even says that there are things about herself that even she doesn't know about.
As for the hair I don't find anything offensive about it at all....it's a lot better than a lot of the other male styles in the character creator. I think someone at Bioware has something about having a little pouf in the front...even Alistair's hair(even though it was different) turned up at the front somewhat..
