Miranda just comes across as the competitive type to me. I could see her flirting with Kaidan just to get at Shepard.

In my little fantasy world, Kaidan has to worry more about keeping Miranda's hands off me. Watch her body language, especially if you are a Paragon and won her loyalty and talked to her after that. But then, everyone on the Normandy suicide team has a thing for Shepard.



I'm all for floating blue biotic Kaidan sex. I approve.

I was proposing a friendship more than anything else.

I don't think they'd even become friends quickly nevermind anything else. I mean if Kaidan got all angry at you because you with working with Cerberus, he is not likely to trust someone who actually did work for them. I forsee them not getting along for the first quarter to half of the next game.

YAY!  I'm glad you approve.

I don't think it's "oh Miranda's supposed to be attracted to you."  I think it's more, how many of these animations can we use for both male shep and Fem Shep.

I have problems seeing him and Miranda hit it off as well in terms of romance. Miranda is more pro-human, Kaiden tends to view all alien races as equal... she voluntairly (crap spelling) joined Cerberus, he'd rather they be destroyed... stuff like that. On the flip side though, they can talk science together.

Though the main reason is because I picture Miranda with Jacob most of the time. They got a connection that I will someday put back together! 
I've noticed the two fellas seem to like women that can kick ass.

It's definantly that. That was my one grip about the Mass Effect series (well, some games in general). The fighting animation is good, but the cutscenes are kinda meh in terms of potraying a female walk, or male walk. Hell, at time I saw Miranda walking around like a man. It made me laugh a bit. Beautiful looking game, just kinda average walk cycles.

I was getting worried after a while when Miranda brought me to the back of her room. I love ya Miranda... just not 'that' way.

I know that they did the scene that way because they wanted him around for ME3  and didn't want him to be recruited...but you'd think they'd have a different dialog if he was more pro-human...like something along the lines of I'm pro-human but I don't agree with Cerberus's practices so I can't go with you or something like that.

Different dialogue options? But that would mean they would have had to stray away from the generic Kaidan and Ashley appliable dialogue! Impossible!

Shh... that never happened. Neither did a lot of things. As if your decision to do that would have an actual effect.

Miranda has too many self-confidence issues for Kaiden anyways. She's frustrated that she's engineered and can't save the galaxy on her own and your little hoodrat Shepard from Earth (or whatever your origins are) can.



And I don't think Kaiden would appeal to her anyways. He's too Alliance and striaght-laced - the Cerberus thing alone would put him off. She'd like someone a little more renegade.

"This time?" Was something along these lines a dialogue option on Horizon? Somewhere in her explanation about not being part of Cerberus, but knowing she had to work with them to defeat the Collectors?
