How can a Shepard be single after ME2? He/she would have to run to his/her cabin after every mission, dodging all crewmates who want a piece of him/her. No talking to any of em, no hint of a smile or they will be smitten, no compliment or they'll unzip their future blouses....avoid all contact at any cost!
I would love a fanfic about a single Shepard in the ME2 universe from the fish's point of view

Nope. It's the exact same for both characters. We all just got a bit jealous because it appeared that she was eyeing him up.

If your talking about going into ME2 without an LI through an import I think it registers you as single.

But you can get drunk with Chakwas.

And, would you believe it I do play as a paragon, most of the time anyway but some of the Renegade options are freckin hilarious!

Okay about this "the ME1 characters didn't have as much depth as the ME2 characters" thing. Since I really haven't taken the time to get to know these characters because I'm quite paranoid about getting railroaded into a romance I don't want would someone please answer me this. If you take out all the romance dialog and the sexual innuendo out of their dialog options just what exactly is left.



I hope they are not basing the character depth thing on the loyalty quests because all that is really is a revealing about their past in a quest form...you don't get any more in my opinion than we got in ME. The only difference in ME is that the LI or squad member told you about it rather than you having a quest to find out about it. You did have the little Garrus/Wrex sidequest but that was minimal.

The more tantalizing shots if you could get them were in the scene with Lilith and in a few right before he talks to Shep. He looks better when he has that harder edge to him. They make him a lot softer in his interaction with Shep. Then again maybe he just looks more handsome because our lust is growing.

Mmm, first a delicious restaurant dinner (Which turned out cheaper than I thought) and now several pages of Kaidan-appreciating? I approve.

*Chuckles* Really, a part of me feel sorry for poor Lilith and the doom you are raining upon her. But then, I have a problem with disliking characters. I think that there's only... one I really hate, of all the fandoms I'm involved in.

It's more or less got to be the missions, just like in ME, I made a habit of talking to my crew. The more "in-depth" comes from the loyatly missions, because in no way, shape, or form do you have more in-depth conversations with the crew. Just like in ME, you learn about their past, family, up-bringing, how they came to be the person they are today..etc. The Loyalty missions are really the only difference, that, and your crew in ME wasn't as expendable.

I didn't talk much to the crew of ME2 but I did do some of the loyalty missions...I didn't find their background or character to be any deeper than those of ME.

In fact Jack's background fell short in my opinion to Kaidan's(and once again I know I'm bias).

I was intrigued with Kaidan's background on my first playthrough as a maleshep...didn't even know I could have romanced him as a femshep.

In my opinion Jack's was just an amped up version of Kaidan's with a little twist here and there but when I was through with the quest I quickly forgot about her and so it went with the majority of the ME2 squaddies.
