which is your LEAST favorite character from ME2? I've always thought Bioware had to many characters in their games. Thus, they could never really flesh out any of them out to my satisfaction or develop them more than they currently do. As it stands it seems like there is 'character bloat' in Bioware games. Many times really good characters are a result of a very small core cast.
Bioware tends to take a 'shotgun approach' and shoot out a bunch of characters and hope they strike a cord. They always hit, but I think they always miss as well. with less characters you could spend more time and develop them better, and I think make a better game with better characters. Bioware could make more characters but they would probably have to allocate more resources away from other things, and they might not work.
personally I dislike Jacob Taylor the most (and Miranda too, but she had a better side mission). They felt more like cerberus lackeys that join you so you have some squad members. When I got new characters I replaced them pretty fast. It was pretty much Garrus and Zaeed for the first parts of the game.

Zaeed. He's a pretty interesting character with good voice work and a lot written for him... but he doesn't really contribute to anything. I don't have any reason to care about him.

Jacob sucks because he is Kaiden 2.0. Almost exactly the same character build (in terms of abilities). However, I will say that I thought he had one of the best loyalty missions....I liked the way he dealt with his father in my play through. Other than that he was weak.

Zaeed. Though he is DLC so maybe there is excepting that... otherwise it would probably be Jacob. The thing is I really started liking JT a lot but he really pales in comparison to the rest of the cast and doesn't have a lot of development.

Actually most of the people I know hate her because she goes from **** to emo, both of which are amusing sterotypes that have no place in a Bioware game.
As for me, I voted Jack, but am wondering WHO VOTED MORDIN.
THEY MUST BE PURGED BY BEING FORCED TO WATCH NONSTOP ELCOR HAMLET.

Miranda. I hate arrogant little b*tches like that. And although she softens up towards the end, she was constantly questioning my authoruty, it seemed like. Despite initial doubts, I really learned to like Jacob's character. He just seems like the twin brother my Shepard never had. He was always honest and true in his actions, and he didn't try to undermine Shep's authority, while at the same time offering a good look at how the crew was feeling. Didn't really like his talent tree though.
