I didn't really hate any of them, but I ignored Zaeed.

I liked Jacob at first but he got boring after his loyalty mission.

Miranda was one of my favourite characters. She wasn't nice at first, but I grew fond of her as the game progressed and always wanted to build a squad with either her or Garrus in it.

Zaeed was pointless and wasn't particularly unique. He's a mercenary with a story. He's also completely useless in the final chapter despite being the 'greatest mercenary evar.'

So yeah, I voted for him.

Jacob was cool. Like a real person.

Garrus was cooler than he did before but definetly needed more dialogue.

Miranda was cool, good VA, nice dialogue. Not too fond of the character as she was quite arrogant but it was her right.

I voted for Jack. I didn't care for the balding, tattoo'd look, and her attitude was just so bad I couldn't even bring myself to talk to her more than a handful of times. I only did her loyalty quest for my "no one left behind" achievement.

I'm also a tad surprised by all the miranda hate. She was irritating at first, but I got the impression that's how it was supposed to be by design, being your handler and all. I thought she got much better, in fact really good, as the story went on, and the end when she tells Illusive Man to get bent was pretty satisfying.

I also was a tad disappointed by the lack of real onboard conversation with Zaeed, but I enjoyed him, and his loyalty mission was fun so I'm ok with him. Plus he was free.

To each their own I guess, just don't use them :P

Definitely Jacob. I can't think of any point in the game where I wasn't hoping I could send him on his own suicide mission.

Though I understand the dislike of Zaeed and Jack, I frankly enjoyed both of them. In fact, except for Jacob, I liked the whole team.

Jacob.

His type isn't me. He wasn't interesting. I just tried to be polite when talking to him. Yet I get the whole 'going out for drinks when the mission is over' line. And what really pissed me off was that seductive tone of voice my female Shepard put on when talking to him. What the hell was that?!
Sent him off to escort the crew members back to the ship on the suicide mission. Not particularly hoping he'd die, but I never felt like he was part of my team. So it felt good to totally boot him off the mission and a chance at glory.

Runner up is Miranda. She's Cerberus and she's an arrogant **** more or less. She softens up, but I wasn't particularly sad when she died on my suicide mission. Also, no risk of Kaidan finding her a bit too interesting in ME3. Seems I'm methodically killing off any potential threat if possible. Would've let Kelly die too, but I like Dr. Chakwas.

Jacob was a bit bland. Haven't met Zaeed, but hear he is a surly drunk.

Liked Miranda OK, Thought Jack was just boorish and uninteresting, so I guess she gets the title.

Everyone else was gold. Not a big Kelly fan though, which maybe why I didn't backtrack to an earlier quicksave to prevent her form being juiced in the end.

I don't think there was anyone in the cast that I disliked. Miranda did not bother me at from the first time I meet her I knew the Ice queen was just a front and she makes a great XO by the end... she was my fire team lead. Her and Jack pissed me off with there fight after Jack's loyalty I mean seriously having a fight about who is the Queen B*tch on the ship but hiding behind issues about Cerberus... I mean come on. So neither one got any my Shephard lovin'and my attentions went to no drama Tali.

Still I enjoyed all the Characters Garrus and Jacob were like my wing men. Mordin was pure comic relief . Miranda was most likely to smack my Sherpard for being a pure knuckledhead more anything else ... ahhh my disfunctional/functional Normandy FamilyImage IPBImage IPB

How can you hate Jack? She's my favorite character. But I do agree that Zaeed is lame.

People are thretend by jack and the fact shes not "girly"

I think it's more because she's a one dimensional and overall boring character. there's really nothing special about her. Even after her loyalty mission she only wanted to kill people and be all "I'm John McClane with ******! Yippie-ki-yay!". I'd actually like her if she had any depth to her character.

Edit:
For a better "non-girly" girl, see Ashley from ME1. Definitely not girly, and at least not over-the-top badass. And with an actual character (that people either love or hate, but it's there at least).

Actually most of the people I know hate her because she goes from **** to emo, both of which are amusing sterotypes that have no place in a Bioware game.

As for me, I voted Jack, but am wondering WHO VOTED MORDIN.

THEY MUST BE PURGED BY BEING FORCED TO WATCH NONSTOP ELCOR HAMLET.

I think that should count under cruel and unusual punishment

I was forced to hate Jacob because He used his black mamba on Miranda before me and left a gapeing hole that my wee non african shepard could fill

- It was an emotional hole that left Miranda untrusting is what I was talking about ...... yeah

Voted with Miranda. I can't think of a more overdone cliche character type than her.

I voted for Grunt. After being spoiled by the awesomeness of Wrex, we get a bland, tank born krogan. No thanks. He can stay and guard the base.

Zaaed. In my opinion, he is, hands down, the more useless character in the game. He didn't even have an interesting loyalty mission.

A lot of people seem to choose Jacob and Miranda as the most disliked characters, but I actually like them both. I also do not see what is so cliche about Miranda. I would say Jack is far more cliche. Actually coming to think of it that perhaps what I like about Jacob and Miranda is that they are the most NORMAL characters while not lacking in personality at the same time. Normal does not make a character cliche in my opinion. Having a personality type that should be rare, but appears far too often does.

My least liked characters are probably Grunt and Jack. Grunt because I do not like krogan and overly aggressive people in general. Jack because I am so tired of the "badass *****" type characters. Mind you, I can't say that I hate any of the ME2 characters as Bioware has done a great job on them. These two are simply the two characters I have the least sympathy for.

Also, at first impression I disliked Samara, but further conversations revealed that there was far more depth to her.

This is exactly why I find miranda cliche.

There's someone exactly like her in practically every sci-fi story i've ever seen/read. I'm bored with it. It isn't badly written or anything. Just overly common.

I actually didn't dislike any of the characters in ME2, much to my surprise. I thought they were all interesting and had a good deal of (written) depth. Back in ME1 I didn't like Ashley or Kaiden or Garrus all that much, although their stories were all worth reading. But I don't guess I would say I disliked them. They were just my least favorite. And along those lines, I guess my least favorite in ME2 were Jacob and, again, Garrus. I didn't like Miranda or Zaeed much initially but they've grown on me.
