Can I use a preorder code (Dalish Promise Ring) from a UK distributor and add that bonus to my US game?

Also, are ALL Mass Effect 2 PC promotions both xbox and PC?  For instance, do I get access to them on both xbox and PC versions of the game with one code.  (I'm interested in getting the inferno armor from ebay, and most are "xbox" codes)

Thanks, the only reason I'm curious about the ME2 crossover codes is because every promotion I have so far is for BOTH xbox and pc, but then again I only have the Dragon Armor code, and the 3 dr. pepper codes...I wanted to get the inferno armor from ebay so I'm curious if that's a crossover code too.

I'd really appreciate an official answer on these issues, though if somebody else is absolutely certain let me know please.
