NEW TURNS BEGIN AT 12:00 AM PST, AS SHOWN ON THE ABOVE CLOCK.
This is a little something I've picked up from the various forums I've visited over my years of travel throughout the webscape, namely the MtG forums. Please don't post here to tell me what a stupid idea this is. Other people have enjoyed it in the past and I plan on enjoying myself here.
DRAGON AGE: THE WAR GAME
Welcome to Dragon Age: The War game, a forum-based war game that I encourage everyone to participate in. This is the first iteration of the game and depending how it goes, I might do more with additional teams and rule adjustments. The premise is simple: Pick a team and once per day you can make a move for your team.
Feel free to roleplay your turn, or not!
How you play:
- If this is your first post in the game, tell us what team you're joining with! Each team has its own unique ability.
- Declare which team you're attacking using your move. You only get one move per day! If you're using your team's special ability instead of attacking, say so! If you attack a team, you cause 1 damage to that team.
- List the status of the game after your move.
The Templars
When you attack the Circle of Magi or the Dalish Elves, you cause 2 damage instead of 1.
The Grey Wardens
When you attack the Blight, you cause 3 damage instead of 1. At the end of each day the Grey Wardens lose 5 life.
The Circle of Magi
Instead of attacking, you can put an O token on your team (this takes up your turn). Instead of attacking, if there are 15 or more O tokens on your team you can remove all O tokens from your team and reset your team's life to 50 (this takes up your turn). You CANNOT attack the dwarves.
The Dwarves
Your team starts with 100 life instead of 50. At the end of each day the Dwarves lose 5 life.
The City Elves
When your team reaches 0 life, you can return your team to 10 life (this takes up your turn). The City Elves can only be saved in this manner once per day. If at the end of a day the City Elves are at 0 life, they lose.
The Dalish Elves
Your team starts with 30 life instead of 50. Instead of attacking, you can add 1 life to your team (this takes up your turn).
The Crows of Antiva
Instead of attacking a team, you can put an X token on a team (this takes up your turn). When you attack a team, if that team has 5 or more X tokens on it, remove all of them to cause 10 damage instead of 1.
The Blight
At the start of each day the Blight has 3 B tokens put on it. When you attack, you can remove a B token from it to deal 3 damage instead of 1.
When at the end of a day there is only 1 team left standing, that team is the winner!
Starting Status:

Grey Wardens: 50
Circle of Magi: 50
Dwarves: 100
