Indeed! As long as we all remember to look back at our posts after we make them we shouldn't run into trouble. =) We can all feel free to moderate and make sure that things are on track.DeviantJoker wrote...
Hah, kind of a mess with everyone plugging in at the same time.
At the moment I'm not sure! There are three options:If my team is later defeated (though I can't imagine why anyone would pick on the precious Blight) - I am allowed to join another team, correct?
- If your team loses, you're out. I don't particularly like this!
- If your team loses, you join another team.
- If your team loses, you join a special team that exists solely for people from fallen teams. This would be like an 'undead' team that can't lose or something like that.

nd @Napoelon, you are going to end up attacking almost everyone with a few exceptions but there are obvious advantages to attacking certain teams. And there is always room for alliances
The point is to be the last team standing so you tell me

You can attack whoever once a day, but the Mages can't attack us, the dwarves.Napoleon1853 wrote...
So does it matter who we attack or are certain groups supposed to attack other certain groups?

My vote definitely goes for #2! But I'll leave that to the masterful forum-game designersAt the moment I'm not sure! There are three options:If my team is later defeated (though I can't imagine why anyone would pick on the precious Blight) - I am allowed to join another team, correct?

Definitely. I'm looking forward to any evolution of it. For now, simple and flowing probably should be the key. At the very least though, I could definitely see a 'Forum Group' for this being tacked on. I don't think that'd be too out of the question even in a short time from now. It would help, in the future, discuss rule changes and adaptations. It's bumpy now but once people get the gist of it it'll get steaming. The game'll evolve with more teams, special rules, 'plot events' and maybe even a forum group as it gains popularity.
Tacking on current tally to this post

It would be a good idea to have a Hero event, named after powerful npcs or monster, that can save the faction for certain destruction. Say have a Paragon for The Dwarves that rallies them to save them being defeated by The Blight or somesuch. Could have it as such each week as a theme that ressurects a defeated faction.EmperorOfTheBlack wrote...
lol, we might actually use Arch Demons as special events

There will be general events as well as faction-specific events that can fire if certain criteria are met. I've made a group that you can find via navigating my profile that we can use for discussion. I wanted to link to it in my siggy but it pushes my pic out of the way!

No, not that, Cuuniyevo's post originally said he stole their B because he was a rogue.. he edited it, but I thought it was some sort of rule I missed.AClockworkMelon wrote...
DeviantJoker joined with the Blight and used a B to deal triple damage to the Grey Wardens. =)
That's because I totally WANTED that B. Only after seeing Joker's post did I realize that I wasn't allowed.

Edit: Just in case I gave the teams too much life, for this first test game we'll say that at the end of the third day (tonight being the end of the first), the game will end even if there's more than one survivor. The hope is to get these games lasting a day or two tops each (which I know, makes those life loss mechanics look lame in retrospect, but hey, it's a work in progress).

Thanks to DeviantJoker for the tip! Added a game clock on the front post so everyone can see what time it is for the game.
Ya, just a simple link - probably could find a prettier one in the future. May want to state by it that new turn begins after 12:00AM PST - in case anyone was unclear/unsure.
