I jus met Zev,.. and took him for a run to see how he fairs,.. he can't open a bloody lock he has no lockpicking skills, so it's back to the lass with slight of hand,.. my biggest two disapointments with the game thus far are size of carry bag (even with back pack) and the fact that that so many goddies are in locked box's you can't get to and can't get back to when you leveled a lockpicker.
Bio been tighter than a fishs backside (and thats water tight) each level 1 skill point and given how hard the fights get one can't waste points on side skills less you gimp you means of staying alive.
That means one skill per level and your miles away from and unable to get back to a lot of chests by the time your party has skill to open them
Edit:
Almost forgot,.. All Dev;s do it,.... NPC's can shot trought waals and we can't,.. thats real balance right and they seem to have a much greater range than us, I have never be able to run out of range of fire to heal up or get sorted

I'm saving him for my more evil-ish playthrough.

I've always killed him, just makes sense. Especially from a RP point of view, not only did he try to kill you... but he didn't do such a great job!
I actually love the reason why he wanted the contract to kill the Grey Wardens so badly. It was so sad and really made me feel for him.
Spoiler below...
He didn't expect to win.

If I had known all along that this was going to happen, I would have been nicer to him, rather than going. "Ah, I see. You're a rogue? Ah. Oh you have a silly accent too? Have you met Leilana? You'll be spending a lot of time in camp together while the capable party members (with less annoying accents) go do all the work."

I slit his throat because he would have done the same to me.

There are things I would have done IC : kill Zevran, leave Sten to his fate. Were it not for the fact I knew they were Companions who could add a lot of depth.

I like Zevran, without him I couldn't have gotten Isabela to agree to the four way. So kudos to him!
FYI unles you Bio or gay a 3 way is better than a 4 way when 2 men are involved.

That makes little sense for all of my characters, however, as the man needs to be pumped for information. So he gets talking... and then he's funny, and then he wins them over, and then he's in the party. Every single time.
It is a real pain in the arse that he doesn't start off with better lockpicking, mind you.

Zevran... I'm conflicted about him. I got a great mod to fix his coloring and such, but even now I do find letting him live improbable unless my character finds him attractive and is the extremely merciful and forgiving type. Most of the time I have trouble sparing somebody in character who says "The Grey Warden dies here!" and proceeds to try to cut my throat.

Ugh, yes. The lack of lockpicking is horrible. Just horrible. Especially since you never need more than 1 Stealth in the game ever, if even that. I respec him every time.
.
I haven't tried it , but isn't combat stealth kinda cool. It seems cool when those bloody Shrieks use it.
