When you go to Tuchanka you meet a female Krogan. She talks about being a representative for the female clan and speaks in a different voice that isn't as deep as the males and looks slightly smaller then male Krogans.

I thought it was a male seeing as females never leave the camp so they would need a male to represent him

But she looks and sounds different. I really think it is a female.

I don't remember ever seeing a representative from the female camp. Could have been an adolescent Krogan anyway, children live in the camp too.

it was pink, clearly female.

I thought from what I heard when it said something snide that it was a " runt-ish" male who represented the female clans...similar to a eunuch.
funny how the rep made a comment about being unworthy etc etc....considering My Fem shep got some breeding requests along with grunt following the trial * lol

IDK, I'll check again when I get there in my second playthough. Just found it odd that this representative have a different voice and looked smaller and bland.

No its a he, but it is funny that he is wearing pink armor.
Thats one thing I found odd. Where are the goddamn ladies at?! its annoying that they basically seem to explain them away in the codex. All the females seem to live sheltered lives for most of the species.

Hanar M
Elkor M
Turian M
Salarian M
Krogan M
Batarian M

Pretty sure it was a male Krogan that served the females as their representative. He says what an honor it is to serve the females.

Salarian and Krogan females don't leave their main planets because they are rare.
Elcor, Volus, and Hanar are probably indistinguishable to humans (Vorcha also)
Turians strike me as a very male-dominated society. But then again Garrus mentions sparring against a female Turian on a ship once.

Garrus also mentions that he and she were the best fighters on the vessel, and I even think it's ends in a draw. But if Bioware continues having Turians have a bird/reptile-like biology, there's probably no ****** and no notable sexual features different to the males, at least discernible to humans. I think, beyond size and color variations in some species, birds look pretty much the same regardless of sex to us.
The fact that Grunt talks of some great female Krogan warlord who was lost in the Krogan Rebellions suggest that the females aren't (much) weaker than the males. All the stuff about females staying on the homeworld, needing protection etc gives the weakness vibe, but might be more from necessity than biology.

Her name is Natorth. Her voice is way higher then the others, and she has a flowery little hump bandana thing. Go talk to her >_>

sexual dimorphism is rampant on earth and probably is more so with aliens, a female krogan could look like almost anything, even humans have dimorphism to some degree.

So does the scout in Mordin's loyalty mission. If you listen to the guy in Tuchanka, he says he a guy representing the ladies.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but the krogan in question is a he. In one of the random convos, he's described as a "he" and a "pathetic runt"... or something like that. At any rate, it was amusing.
Also, if the shape under the sheet in Mordin's loyalty quest is any indication, the female's are a little more humanoid-shaped and minus a hump.

Eh, too bad. I thought Bioware actually made a female for another race other then Asari, Quarian, or Human.

It's a younger male Krogan, he even says he has to hold off on taking his Rite because of his important job of being the representative for the females.
