I've never seen a more pathetic bunch of whiners, morons, and trolls so out to make this place an absolute conflux of anti-fun. And trust me, I've been around the interwebz. In terms of reasonable discussion on a game, this place somehow actually manages to score below /v and only -slightly- above Youtube comments. I'm not sure how you (and that's a general you, not a specific or all encompassing you) accomplished turning this board into this state... but congratulations.
I feel this way about the game. Why should the forum be any different?

Yeah, it's kind of sad when the Times is getting praised for giving the game a bad review.
But the Times didn't give a bad review, they gave a fair one, which pointed out the flaws. Admittedly, it may have given more time to the flaws, but at least it pointed them out.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mass Effect 2 - only reason I'm not playing my Insanity run through at the moment is because I'm off to Uni in five minutes, but, whilst the plot is much better, there are elements which could have done with being preserved from ME1. (Keep customisation, but at least give us a primitive inventory, and if you're hellbent on keeping it as is, give us more parts to customise with/more casual outfits/helmet toggle/bonus armour customisation [Even if it's only colours for Terminus/Inferno])
Edit:
Oh, and the companion armour/outfit situation is an absolute joke, I really hope they fix that for ME3. Hardsuits for vacuum environments would be nice. (Obviously this doesn't apply to Garrus, Legion or Tali. Not sure about Zaeed and Grunt, they might get helmets as well which would seal their suits), and only two outfits for them is pitiful.

you must lead a very miserable life then, if you can't enjoy a game such as this, and yet rather than trading it in and picking up something that better suits your tastes (there are tons of jrpgs out!) you vomit the blackness of your heart onto these forums...onto us.
now I could make a comment mirroring yours and replace "the game" with something akin to explicit references towards your mother, but that would just be rude!

Because it shows you for the vindictive, petty, no-fun **** you are. Rather than go search for something you would enjoy, you would rather come to a forum based on a video game you don't like and try to justify your dislike of it to people who do like it. Or form a kind of Alcoholics Anonymous support group for people who have nothing better to do than cry about how the bad game touched them in their no-no area.
I mean, I guess displaying just how meaningless your life is on the internet is pretty par for course, but you do it in such a remarkably transparent fashion. Props for letting other people's enjoyment of something actually make you upset.

You should just do it anyway, to hell with rudeness. If he is stupid enough to keep coming here, spouting crap about a game he seems to hate (but probably still plays) maybe he deserves it...

I really like the marketing campaign for your product, you make such grandiose promises and it sure sound like it is the best thing ever. Here's my $10, gosh I sure hope that it isn't just you hyping your product and making false statements about how great it is going to be. Ready when you are ^^ By chance do you have a forum where I can complain about your product even if I really did secretly like it, but thought I'd be cool, and say it was crap?

The trick is to have them find out it's terrible AFTER they buy it. I already know that a kick in the daddybags feels bad. Geez, take a marketing course or something.

I'm sorry but your logic does not work here. Any constructive criticism is regarded as blasphemy and you will be flammed at the stake. Saying that you want to make ME 3 better will only further compound your blasphemy, as ME 2 is the very embodiment of perfection. I cast you OUT blasphemer. Fanboys grab your pitchforks and join me in casting this blasphemer OUT. He is not part of the group because his opinion is different, he dares to say that ME 2 is not the very embodiment of perfection. I say again. I CAST YOU OUT BLASPHEMER, the power of shepard compels you, the power of shepard compels you, the power of shepard compels you.

Yes, I am sure Bioware will pay attention to your opinion over the overwhelming critical acclaim and 2 million and counting in sales.
Don't try to pretend you have noble goals here. The only reason you're here is to justify your hate for the game with other likeminded players on this thankfully marginal and statistically irrelevant subsection of the game's fanbase. Your opinion of the game is as meaningless to the developers as my opinion that the newest Madden game would be much better if it included inventory and Mako driving segments.

Uh, well, you can wear a cup. And, if you survive 20 kickings, you get DLC for a bigger cup.
rofl that sounds like a superb deal. Will the DLC cost 800 MS points for only half a kicking? When will you patch the kickings?

Sarcasm? I'm serious. We have a blasphemer in our midst. One who dares question the very perfection that is ME 2. We must cast this blasphemer out. We must exile him because he does not conform to our, the majorities, opinion. CAST HIM OUT he is a blasphemer.

If you want to see what Bioware is doing, take a look in the technical support forums.
