It may be pretty, but as rogue i hate it in battles, especially ogre killing animation.

I tried virulent corpse explosion on my current game. It's very powerful, maybe the most powerful spell, but you gotta be careful with it or you can kill your entire party. I think it's nature damage, so having Shale using a nature crystal and taunting everything to her usually works. Or make your mage an arcane warrior with shimmering shield and hope you survive the blast.

My elf mage uses this, and she has Suave voice so one of her lines when the battle ends is "what a mess!"  I have to LOL because it is sooo true.  Just like when my HNF rogue with Violent voice says "am I too quick for you?" while running Momentum.  Love it.

virulent walking bomb just makes me giggle when I cause a chair reaction and blow up 1/2 a mob with it the spells just pure win



also Dread Howl and Overwhelm on the dog just makes me giggle as he stuns the enemies then proceeds to pounce on them



and two handed sweep I just love watching my guy swing his sword around and send every one flying
