My system spec (clearly meets the minimum system requirement):
1. OS: Windows 7 with the latest update
2. CPU: 2.8 Ghz i7 Quad core
3. RAM: 4 GB
4.
VIDEO: GTX 275, with the latest driver 196.21
5. AUDIO: Onboard asus realtek HD audio 6.0.1 5924 (asus motherboard)
6. DirectX 9.0c August 2008 (Latest version)
7. Game media: 2 DVD
I have searched over many websites/forums, and found little help (include this forum).
Problem detail:
I have played through the initial prologue, and just got on to the Normandy.
Everytime I go into the weapon changing locker on Normandy, and try to change my assault rifle, the game freeze, then the message "mass effect 2 has stopped working" appears.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall games several times, update my video driver, and the game still stucks at the same spot (weapon locker changing screen). I have deleted mass effect 2 folder from both the program file and document folder with every uninstall. So I don't think the game is corrupted.
Please help and message me if you require any additional details from my pc

Hmm, another one with no conclusion. Can't guess whether it involved dual DVD drives in conflict, or what might have happened. Here's a summary from the file archives here:
Totals = 35
Intel Chips = 5
Conflicts with languages installed = 3
Corrupted Files (mostly saves) = 4
DVD drive conflicts = 5
PhysX setup conflict = 3
Reinstalled, worked = 3
Video driver version bad = 2
Unknown, never concluded = 10
