Quarian, Or Geth?

Personally...I'm siding with the Quarians.
First off, the Quarians never knew what they were dealing with. They didn't set out to develop AI at all. It just turned out that the hive-mind effect eventually allowed the Geth to develop independantly. The day the Geth asked it's master if it had a soul was a rightful cause for panic. They didn't really see it coming, and who knows what else they could have turned themselves into? The only solution would be to shut them down. I defy you to find any government ever who wouldn't come to the same conclusion.
Legion paints the Geth as these completely innocent people who only want to survive. Who knows? This may even be the case. Even so, as Legion describes them, Geth are software. They could exist on a single hard drive as long as it had power. It wouldn't even need to be connected to any networks. They could survive in that state just fine. Better, even, than the Quarians do on the Migrant Fleet. The Geth could disappear into the Persius Veil if they wanted to simply "survive". It doesn't seem like a coincidence to me that the Geth keep the Quarians from inhabiting just about every planet that they could feasibly live on.
It seems to me that if the Geth were really as peaceful as Legion makes them out to be, they would have vanished from the Quarian's system. This would prevent further loss of life for them, and the Geth could just as easily live in some unmarked region of space. In short: Why would they care where they live if not to prevent the Quarians from recolonizing? They have plenty of opportunity to do so. In ME3...I'm gonna wait with baited breath for Legion to tell me where he got that N7 armor. Beyond that, if I have a choice, Geth are gonna be the first cannon fodder for the reapers.

It's a lot like Frankenstein, where the creator abandon their children when they think they've made something horrible. The part where Legion replays a recording of a Geth questioning whether or not it has a soul was an obvious reference to Frankenstein.
I'm on the Geth's side in this one.

Considering the Geth's track record, I am doubtful the Quarians could have pursued diplomacy. The Quarians overreacted to the Geth asking questions about the meaning of life, but the Geth don't exactly have a spotless conscious either.
The Geth have not proven that they are peaceful yet. Instead they're getting indoctrinated by reapers and messing around with the Quarians.

In short: I think he's lying. If they had no idea, why would the Geth attack all Quarians on sight and not even try to take any prisoners for interrogation? Besides that...the Quarians fled their home world. They left all their records. The Geth sould obviously have gotten into them at some point.

So... Tali and Shep are the talent, and Legion is the director?

Definitely side with the Quarian. You always have to prioritize organic life over synthetic life. Who do you save, the young child or the Geth that was manufactured and could just be repaired?
Life is life, no matter how it was made or manufactured, i for one would save the Geth, because then you are saving 300 or so programs (read:people) instead of just one.

Siding with Geth, since its pretty much from the looks of it the quarians wanting slaves. Once the slaves became free thinkers it was dangerous so they wanted to destroy them. Kinda like raising kids without any education, and trying to shoot him/her when he/she learns how to read.
Not really. It's more like the kids getting access to military equipment and becomming completely unpredictable.

They probably tried that, but couldn't comprehend why the Quarians did it. It'd be like if a race suddenly decided we'd all be better of dead because we are sentient. You'd have theories, but in the end you'd just belief the race was evil and racist.
Although I do think Legion is a little suspicious: the fact that we never hear from these other "good Geth" makes me think that maybe there aren't any others, and Legion is just an anomaly manipulating you to free his species from Reaper control.

So...assuming a large group of very dangerous animals were set loose in a very populated city...you'd convince the populace to live with them there? lol

Who said they were dangerous? You seem to forget, the Quarians ATTACKED the Geth FIRST. The Geth's only crime was existing.
