I know how it can be when there's a new 'hot' multiplayer game on the horizon, there's a pile of hype and there's a slight pressure to join in. What's it like with a singleplayer game in that regard, do you really care if your friend owns and plays the game - have you done some Dragon Age PR work yet?
I've mentioned a few times that I'm getting this game, but I haven't gone on and on about certain features and such. Actually, there hasn't been all that many "innovative" features to speak of, it's just seems to me like a quality game with an engaging story at its core. In many ways it's similar to other BioWare games, multiple dialogue choices and so forth.
What do you think?
Have you convinced a friend into buying Dragon Age?

Have recommended it to some people who care for a good RPG.
At least two will buy it. Where´s my comission?

I tried talking to my gf about it... she's a videogame lover but she seems unimpressed. :3
"Six different origins!" "So... six different starting places? That it?"
"Um, and you have a real influence on your companions!" "... like every other game?"
"100 hours long!" "Yeah they said something similar about ME, didn't they?"

Yes, I've got a couple of friends that plan on buying this after I had told them about it. They hadn't heard of it.

Two back home so far, one for his newly built PC and one who will carry on Xbox-style. I am also showing it off to two class-mates once I have it in Nov - I have doubts one would get it (not his style generally) but I do think the other may.

Two friends, though I never actually convinced them...they picked up the idea on their own by listening to me. It'll be three if I can coax another to pull out of her silly Mac habits.

I got a friend to buy it, but it wasn't so much me selling it to him as it was me telling him it existed.

Oh, yeah. I want the game to do well, so I've convinced the majority of my friends to get it. Even though we are all poor college students. ;P Plus, I like to have people who know what I'm talking about when I rant about it!

I don't know anybody that would be interested and isn't already going to get it. You either like it already, or you won't like it, is my experience.

Tried to gain some interest of my PW group and friends, by making a "make your (servername) character in the DA character creator"
But the reactions were a bit so-so, They're PW players and remain there, I fully respect that.

I've actually talked about it just about any time I go out to a bar. I'm beginning to suspect that people are tired of hearing about how excited I am about DA:O and how I can't wait for it to come out.
November better come soon, or else my social life may not survive.
