How can you keep the fish alive? I fed them twice, but not every single time I returned to Normandy. I'm still in the beginning of the game! Do I really need to feed them EVERY time I visit the Normandy? Seems ridiculous since the hamster doesn't need to be fed at all!

It's true that Kelly will offer to feed them for you. I'd advise keep talking to her each time you board the Normandy. After she asks and you accept her help go get some more fish. My fish were dead at the time and she still offered to help feed them.

I'm so heartbroken over them.. I have a tank in real life and this has never happened! They can live happily for 2 weeks and more without feeding!

Kelly swings both ways, so Femsheps can also get her to feed the fishies but you'll need to take her to dinner first. Anyway, if your fish die you can always buy some more...

Stupid Kelly won't feed my fish <_<
You have to feed them everytime you dock and directly after a mission. IE you can't do Thane's Loyalty mission the Garrus's and feed them. Even though they're both at the same city, you have to do it after each misison.

Why can't you just drop some piranhas in there with them? You'd be good to go for at least a couple missions.

It's possible, but not that I'm aware of. Although stringing someone along like that just to get your fish fed seems a little shallow.
