I've heard mixed reports on this.  Is a Samara romance possible?  I know she won't consummate with her but is it possible to have a platonic relationship with her?

I remember in my first playthrough she was talking about having feelings for me.

Well, it's not like she would've had much of a choice anyways.  The ship can barely hold it's entire crew to begin with.  That is why many crew members have to bunk in rooms that aren't meant as living quarters.

Poor Grunt has to sleep in the stasis tube.

You can get her to admit that she is certainly attracted to you, and alomst get a kiss. But there it ends.

Shame really. I hoped she would show up in Shep's quarters when going through the Omega4 relay

if you talk to her and do her loyalty quest she makes it clear why not.

Nope. Ardat-Yakshi are sterile, so she wouldn't have had kids, then.

No she isn't or she would be at a monstery making honey marinade. However, her genetic destiny seems to point to all her children being Ardat-Yakshi, so she is not willing to have another child, hence her refusal to have physical relations

Does anyone know what samara says in proceeding conversations after you try to romance her?

All she ever says for me is she wants to meditate more. Never got her to say anything else minus what she says when you get back from end game.

To even attempt romancing her you have to be mostly Paragon I believe. About two conversations after her loyalty mission, she'll say something about you two being friends. You can reply with either "I'm glad we're friends" or "I want more". If you've been playing paragon and choose the latter option, the conversation will continue, and you can keep pressing for romance until she eventually runs away to the crew quarters. If you've been playing renegade she'll end the conversation by flat out denying you, even threatening violence against you once the mission is over.

you can continually push her and she'll actually leave the Normandy because she does have feelings for you but cannot act on them or something like that. I do remember one time I saved it right before talking to her one time and just kept pushing her and eventually she said PEACE!
