I see Ceberus like the Ousters in the Hyperion saga. Everyone thinks they're Barbarians but they actually represent the evolution of humanity, with their science. Who's to say they can't work with Reaper tech, and who's to say they'll crush the other Alien races beneath their boots?

They're all about furthering humanity in a real sense, far beyond political rungling and simple military might. Say what you will about Cerberus but they're the most powerful black ops organization in ME for a reason.

One thats not racist. Two why shouldn't we try to advance our position? The Council races have been keeping others at a disadvantage for thousands of years. They like the status quo.

Actually, thats the definition of racism.

Wanting to advance your peoples position in life is now racism? Wow when did the definition change?

Working with Cererus and TIM was the best part about the disappointing narraitve of ME2, and I hope to see how this relationship builds in ME3. I much prefer working with TIM than the council.

I prefer cooperation over subjugation.

That is why I can't support Cerebrus, they are just repeating the sad history of humans back on Earth. People who support Cerebrus are the reason why I have to say it is for the best of all intelligent life that humans remain stuck on Earth.

At least than we only have the racial supramacist killing other humans because they have a different skin color.

Tim cares about human dominance, not just human survival. The guy even says it. Now unless your Shep also likes the idea of all the other races bowing down before you, and not living together as equals. Then I guess Cerberus is ok.

Yup. I also enjoyed working with TIM and supported Cerberus. Even gave the base to them quite willingly.

Reasons to Hate Cerberous:
1.) Torturing children. Whether or not TIM knew about Jack and the others is irrelevant, it just shows that Cerberous as a whole is nasty.
2.) Letting Alliance soldiers land in a trap so that they could experiment with how the giant worm-things acid affects the human body when you pump it through their veins.
3.) Messing with Rachni.
4.) Messing with Thorian Creepers, that sh!t was better off staying forgotten.
5.) Wanting you to leave the Collector hive intact so they could 'study' it, already knowing what that sh!t does to you.
6.) They killed Admiral Kohoku.
7.) Because they dislike aliens which means they dislike Liara, Tali, and the others.

Reasons to Like Cerberous:
1.) They understand the Reaper threat.
2.) They brought back Sheperd.
3.) At least they support their own.

--------------------

A few good decisions does not make Cerberous worth liking.

Understanding the Reaper threat and understanding that it might be possible to exploit a particuliar threat are like 90 different things.
The long of the short of it: Timmy is a hopelessly short sighted greedy ****** and a half!

TIM is for Humans just as long as they continue to serve his ends the very second that they rethink the situation he will drop them like a bad habbit. Timmy is not to be trusted any farther than to keep Shepard with up to date tech, which is why Tali, Mordin, Samara, possible Legion are so important they will see that the monitoring devices, and or viruses/bugs are delt with on a timely basis. The loyalty missions only serve to put a thorn in Timmy's backside cause Jackob and Miranda are on Shepards team now. I believe this through and through cause they are practical. You can't continue to make money if the world blows to hell and back. As I believe EDI is though that one remains to be seen. We all know that Zaeed goes only where the money is though also being practical if he isn't alive he won't be around to spend it. Jack dosen't give a hill of beans one way or another just so she is alive to continue to do her mischief. As far as lil ole Grunt goes well he got all he needs namely plenty of enemies and his name.

As to other races, besides Krogan and Geth there are no real equals to the might of the Humans.

Really Humans should discover the cure for genophage and ally with Krogans to direct the galaxy :D

It has been a swear word right after they started killing  MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN 1937. they taught it to me in my history classes. I beg your pardon if you missed those years.

All the hate comes from the methods the illusive man uses to meet the ends. Keep in mind EDI has said he keeps track of all his projects personally, so he has allowed and consented to the following:

torture of sentient races, including humans (Toombs' platoon)

experiments on children (debatable, as he may or may not have known how much was going on with Subject Zero)

Used Rachni, Husks, Thorian Creepers, and many more in experiments to make an army for his personal goals (Yes, stopping the reapers is one of them, but really, he's got long term goals that are pro-human)

The murder of an alliance admiral

That's just ME1, we don't really know what he's done in ME2 besides omit important things from Shepard before missions. As Paragon shepard says, he probably wants that base to make his own reapers. All this stuff and the words "For the Greater Good" are pretty chilling when you consider the men who have done the same thing.

way to overreact

The name of a certain political party is hardly a swear word or at least shouldn't be censored.

And the Alliance destroyed cargo ships carrying Element Zero over large colonies so they could create more Biotics faster, and then continued to do this in more sporadic incidents as the original group of Biotics proved to be to small a sample size, killing billions in the process, which is several times more then how many people Cerberus has killed so far that we know of at least.

Oh, they also tried creating a group of AI controlled machines that they planned to use to destablize Council worlds, in an attempt to further their goals of getting on the Council/getting a Spectre, but this got found out and ended up failing quite badly, at the cost of once again, several hundred innocent people, largely because the Alliance didn't want word getting out of what they were doing.

Yet people hate Cerberus because the Illusive Man "may "have ordered a few minor bad things?

Thats like espousing Hitler as your one true god, and claiming Stalin was the worst man the planet has ever seen, its stupid blatent hypocrisy with no factual evidence.

They were self righteous murdering facists.
There political "platform" was genocide.

The definition of Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.

So yes that is a horribly nasty word and one that I hope that our world never sees again.

I believe that Hitler and Stalin are now sharing ajoining rooms in the 9th circle of hell.

Those are 2 people that overreacted.

Because the Asari and Turian fleets were wiped out in ME1. But make no mistake the Turians and Asari could stand toe to toe with the humans.

The Turians also have decided to ignore previously ratified caps upon dreadnaughts, and fleet sizes in general.
source: Galactic news kiosk on Citadel.
Let us also not forget that the Turians have deveolped the new Thanix heavy weapon.

Becasue we all know the solution to any problem is to make words disappear from history and language!
That's a solution all right!

Naive kid

Hitler and Stalin didn't invent genocide BTW and it is still occuring in parts of the world. Grow up and look at the world around you, instead of throwing a fit about historical events we can't help try to aid in stopping the genocidal political campaigns that exist now and may occur in future.

To forget or ignore is the worst attitude anyone could approach to such atrocities.

I am somewhat of a history buff. Certainly true enough the only way to make sure we don't repeat mistakes is to learn from them hence remember them. I do believe that you misunderstand me. What I meant by saying that I hope that our world never sees again is the act of genocide. Not the use of the words in question. Nor did I ever suggest that Hitler or Stalin invented genocide, again I simply wish for my children to not have to hear on the news that another race.creed or religion was erased from the face of our planet. Cause in my short time on this fair world I have seen it in the papers far to many times, Rwanda, the Balkins. I have a poor memory but those are 2 that I can pull off the top of my head. Perhaps you should read things a bit more thoroughly.

You sound self hating. Why do you want to bend over backwards for other people who hate us?

" it is for the best of all intelligent life that humans remain stuck on Earth." You do know that without humanity, the Alliance, and Cerberus(weither you like it or not) the reapers would be in our galaxy killing off every species right?

The ******-sapiens (we) caused (whether directly or indirectly is still up to debate) the genocide of the ******-erectus. So in essence, we are a product of genocide.
I am not implying anything. Just food for thought.

Cerberus isn't racist so much as its fanatical and extreme. There is a thin line between believing Humanity should be strong and independent and believing that Humanity is superior to other races. Terra Firma crosses the racist line, Cerberus does not.

T.I.M. is like an "darker" version of the Council; only using you as a tool to do what they cant do by themselves. Both put their own ideals before yours in the end, showing they don't have your back and therefore aren't truly allies.

Screw them both, go solo rogue in ME3!
