Why CE armor (harvesters) can't be combined with purchased (ingame) updates/modifications? Given that ME2 is focused on appearecne more than on features (compared to ME1 armors/weapons) why can't we keep the CE armor shape with the N7 combinations of features?

Its really dissapointing and makes CE armor almost useless <_< at least  features could be increased with lvl or something...

Not to mention the CE weapon, totally useless if you can't equip it. Why not a weapon of each type to allow all (adepts included) use it?
