Must not feel good to have both these scenarios combined into one tremendously disappointing finale.

it wouldnt be a deus ex machina, bioware is know for their awesome story telling and i am sure that the discovery of a very ancient and powerful race of beigns will be pretty awesome, maybe they have to sacrifice themself at the end with the help of shepard and the other races perhaps, point is that it will be just stupid that shepard and the rest of the races solve the problem themself, are u serious? we are talking about reapers, why would they fail now when they have never failed before?

A straight on war wont help us win this battle no matter how many allies u gain. you need something powerful or ancient or a very very organized and perfect plan and trap (with a plan B and C in case)

they did address the leviathan of dis though. So long as Balek survived bring down the sky in me1, he tells you that the leviathan was a reaper that indoctrinated their whole system. 

While Im not a fan of the ending either (dont hate it, but dont champion it either), it is remarkable that they didnt ignore all the lore they set up from day 1.

One has to marvel at whatever it was you did to ****** off the writers of ME3.
