Just started playing a Sentinel, know the pulse didn't do jack to the YMIR on Freedoms progress. The reason I ask is because I'm trying to figure out what possible use a 18 meter pulse radius would actually have. Power Armor sounds useful especially if used in conjuction with Raider topping off bonus power damage at 30% plus whatever tech/biotic upgrades you have, besides giving the highest shield bonus. But besides knocking down all applicable targets within a 18 meter radius causing decent damage, you get back 50% of your shields which could be a major advantage if you have a cooldown in progress and can't get your armor back up immediately. Anywho, thoughts? Suggestions?

EDIT: Another question. Regarding "base shields" do the stats granted by armor figure into that or just upgrades? I'm wanting to know if I should go around decked out in shield boosting gear.
