There is an unused room on the Normandy deck that you can't enter so I'm guessing she goes there. I also hope they don't add any more party members after this or they might be in over their heads for ME3. I'd rather they expand on the excellent characters we already have.

Well, we will see in a few weeks. I imagine the Hammerhead DLC will be first, but hopefully Kasumi is not too long after. Otherwise, most people are going to miss out on the most of the game with her as we will have all completed so many playthroughs.

I think the fact that Zaeed is no fleshed out at all is indicative of the fact that he was always intended to be DLC. As you say, he doesn't really operate like any of the other characters. He is designed as a bonus.

Yep. And I really, really hope Kasumi isn't like this. I hope she's interactive and even a possible romance (but I highly doubt it). And since I'm shooting for the moon here in my wishing, I hope they update Zaeed with some interactive dialogue, but again: I highly doubt it.

Well, some ME 2 characters are clearly leaving even if they live.  Samara says she will continue her quest after the Collectors are defeated and Zaeed I imagine will not be in ME 3 as a character (his contract is up).  I am sure a few others might find reasons to depart, like Jack.

BTW if you are on Illium and lucky you'll hear a news item about Kasumi and what she stole. Heard for the first time a couple of days ago and despite hanging around for a couple more hours havent heard it again. Looks to be a very rare news item.

Dude! I thought I heard the word: Kasumi one time as well but I couldn't make out the rest of announcement. Glad to hear someone else heard that. I thought i just misheard and was just hearing what I wanted to. Hehe.

I'm playing at a lower resolution than these pics, and the way the Dossiers pile up, on the far left there is no room since Zaeed is there, and on the right, there is room for one more character.

Well the only thing I didnt quite catch was the item she was supposed to have stolen. Believe it to be some sort of omni-tool advancement but due to the spot I was in didnt quite catch that part. And as I hung around for a couple of more hours but it still didnt come back up.

I thought that picture was a fake though. I know the character is real, but didn't think the picture was. Where did you find out that it's real?

I found it out from messing with the Coalesced.ini file. First I added her Dossier info to Garrus slot and was able to view her Dossier. Then I added various other code bits from her slot to Miranda's slot and the Kasumi picture came up.

So, it seems like she'll have botha recruitment mission and a loyalty mission? That'd give more room for content. I wouldn`t mind if it was paid DLC if we get two missions out of it.

I have no problem with them making bonus items for people who purchase or pre-order a new copy of the game. I do mind when they take content out of the game specifically for the purpose of making it DLC.  I do wish that Zaeed could use the Revenant machine gun, because it fits his character.  Personally though when they add the Hammerhead and Kasami, I hope they add alot more side quests, more armor, and more guns to go along with it because I have explored the entire galaxy in one of my main games.  They did a really good job with the side quests but in the upcoming DLC it would be fun if they had you doing multi-mission story arches.  Like maybe hunting down a pirate whose character who is really fleshed out.  Give us an enemy we want to hunt down and stop.
