Since y'all are poking around in the game files, someone should link the citadel news item that mentions her - perhaps put the audio up on youtube with a picture of the character. Just a thought - I'd give it a listen.

*snerks* She stole GUARDS? Interesting.
Alarm systems, DNA encoders, gaurds, and various other deterrents were bypassed.

I have no problem with them making bonus items for people who purchase or pre-order a new copy of the game. I do mind when they take content out of the game specifically for the purpose of making it DLC.
Yes, but if the content isn't actually made yet, what's the problem?

It would be most appropriate for her to be a pseudo-romance, like Kelly, that does not grant the badge or spark jealousy. Her story should be written to give her an "out" so that we don't expect her in ME3.

It's not citadel news or galactic news, it's one of the loudspeaker news items on Illium.

That's not what's happening though.
The content wasn't finished in time so it was cut (as is the case with virtually every game, half-finished things are always cut). So rather than us never seeing it again we have the option (eventually once it's finished) to see it.
If you don't want it then don't buy it. Whether EA owned Bioware or not Kasumi would still not be in the game as the reason she's not in the game is simply that there wasn't time to finish her. Obviously they made the choice to make her DLC before the game went gold but still I don't understand why people are get worked up.
The game is out. Bioware have made their money on it. But they're going back and adding things for us, the fans, like Kasumi which they do not have to do as I believe ME2 is a pretty complete package. I'm willing to pay them for the extra content that they're putting work into.
Bottom line: If you have a problem with paying for Kasumi. Do not buy Kasumi. If you don't have a problem paying, please enjoy Kasumi.

I fully agree with this.
Bioware even stated on certain things that they didn't have enough time to finish, i.e. optional romances for a sam sex romance and stuff like Hammerhead, ect. If you go on your Galaxy Map and go to certain solar systems, i.e. the Flotilla, there are places were your Normandy can fly over, ping indicating that theres something there when there actually isn't anything there at all.

Thats my impression of what happened here. If they add it in as DLC with somthing Significant, I wont have a problem, if they just add her in with nothing and make you pay I will be pissed.

Bumped my touchpad and submited the post before I was finished writing. I was trying to say I like DLC that adds to the game in more ways then a new gun or outfit. I like it when they extend the game itself by adding new chapters or storyline material. I only buy DLC that adds substantial content to the game, like the Pit and Point Lookout for Fallout 3. The Hammerhead and Kasami are going to be free from what I heard so I will definitely get them if that is the case. If they are not then they better be good for me to want to get them.
The Hammerhead sound like it is going to be pretty cool and I look forward to seeing if it is because I kind of miss the Mako. I always liked it and I thought that it would be funner if they had more stuff to shoot at besides thresher maws and Geth armatures.

Arguing over the internet is stupid. I was just trying to put forward my opinion on what kind of DLC I like and buy. I did not imply that I thought Bioware cut any content just to make money on it later I only said that I don't like it when that does happen because it is a bad trend in the gaming industry. If people want to jump all over me that is their business.

Bioware has posted already that they did not cut anything from the game to be released as DLC. Stop being a whiny victim. Your sense of entitlement is tired already.
Whats that a fan defending BioWare?
Is that all?
