[Some Dude On The Internet]

After a few replays, just some various plot branches I would have liked to see included:

[*][Loghain and Cailan discuss Ostagar battle strategy]
[*]Player: Um, wouldn't it be simpler to skip the whole tower run and just have a few of these mages wandering around the camp go hold hands and shoot a huge krunking fireball into the sky? You could probably even get your choice of colors and shapes for the signal...? Right, instead let's throw some kindling into a fireplace and after 20 minutes of rubbing sticks together we have a campfire that makes a pillar of black smoke against the night sky. Muuuuch better...

[*][Discovering that Flemeth intends to posess Morrigan's body]
[*]Player (To Flemeth): OK, actually I'm fine with that if it helps cut down on the 'Morrigan Disapproves' scenarios... especially if you're more open to having 3 in a tent


[*][Isolde offers herself as sacrifice]
[*](Player attacks Isolde) Oh, wait, you mean she was suppsoed to die DURING the ritual...? Wow, my bad.


[*][Caridin asks you to destroy the Anvil of the Void]
[*]Player: Oh. Yes, I could see how a good smack or two with a hammer would be really tough on something DESIGNED TO BE HIT WITH A HAMMER...

I wish I could have gone directly to Loghain as Morrigan suggests and side with him from the beginning. Then you would actually have a choice in regards to Redcliff, finish the job, so to speak.



Orzammar - I want to be king/queen dammit! Where is that choice? I choose... ME! Harromont becomes the happy advisor that he is, not a ruler, and Bhelen dies. So much better.



Mage Origin - I dunno, but a legit reason to become a Warden would be nice, cooperating with the first enchanter makes it odd.



Human Noble - Stand and fight to the death to protect my parents and have Duncan drag my KO'd ass out of there for a real reason to join him.



Anvil - Kill Branka and keep the anvil would be nice, I hate her but I like my golem army.

I missed that option too... I'm sure a hot headed warrior who just swore revenge would rather listen to her suggestion than Alistairs.

I took the other route, I helped Jowann and the girl and didn't inform the first enchanter. Afterwards the first enchanter told me how dissapointed he was... hehe

I also always missed an option in the dialog with Morrigan when she asks you about your thoughts on "love" that you couldn't tell her that love can also make your stronger, somehow even I would have dissaproved on all of the answers in that conversation.

And I still think we should have gotten a chance to tell Iona to stay in bed and not open that door to check the hallway!

Arguably you'd be on equal footing with Bhelen, being an Aeducan who doesn't mind going around killing people...

Ahh, but you're killing out of vengeance. Whereas he was killing out of pure ambition. My DN didn't kill anyone who didn't threaten him first.

Now, that did include the clown in the beginning who insulted him because he couldn't accept genuine scholarship. But hey...no one can PROVE that he was killed for that reason.

The option to trick or enslave most of the demons you come across in this game after you defeat them. I wanted to add insult to injury when it came to that damn sloth demon, making me run circles around the fade for a goddamn hour when all I wanted was to pick up a few magi and leave.

Has somebody mentioned taking the crown Caridin gives you and going "PSYCH, BIZNATCHES" and having an Awesome Moment of Crowning instead of giving it to Behlen or Harrowmont?



Because I've always wanted to do that.

I have to agree, the 1 time I refused to go with him he conscripted me or whatever it is lol... I really wish I could of gone out fighting kicking n screaming... I wanted the option to break into the Alienage in Denerim when you go to scope out Brother Genitivi - I mean really what city elf would be like oh? its closed cuz there were purges and riots? I'm sure my family is fine, I'll wait till Anora throws me a bone a couple months from now to find out if they are dead....

I also wanted to be able to finish off Eamon and put Teagan in his place as Arl (I have all these d*mn points in poisoning, c'mon!) and to at the very least slap Isolde and go "B*tch all these people died because when the sh*t hit the fan you still didn't go to the Circle for help."

Umm, yes, that's what I was stating when I said I wanted to emulate Napoleon in my earlier post. Historically, Napoleon crowned himself Emperor.

someone actually made a mod to where you can slap Morrigan, not sure who else you can slap but it's in the projects area

Sorry, I have never, ever gotten the love for her. So she's a tough girl who wears armor. That doesn't make her anything more than a pit-bull wanna-be with no ability to think. Loyalty is only a virtue if the one you follow is worthy of it.

Didn't read the thread before posting. In any event, Napoleon was ruling France for a number of years as First Consul before actually crowning himself Emperor. So it's not quite the same thing.

Seriously though, LOOK at Proud Larry. He IS a cur and he knows nothing of honor given the number of people he has killed with the endless supply of kitchen knives he appears to keep in his sleeves.

Not interested in that mod. I actually like Morrigan, but yes a slapping option in general would be nice! Fear the wicked, cold, and swift embrace that is my palm that is to strike you in the face...
