[Crash masta flex_]

I have a creative fatality x-fi sound blaster card coupled with headphones that are 5.1. 

An issue that keeps popping up is that music and soundeffects during cutscenes play through only the left headphone, yet all dialogue plays normaly through both.  During the game itself is seems like everything plays fine through both EXCEPT music. Music is always in only one ear. 

Anyone with a similar setup having the same issue?  Has anyone found a workaround.  Thanks in advance for any advice.
