So i've seen gameplay videos of with Alistair wearing one but is it possible for the pc-player to acquire one, i have also read somewhere that there are some armor's only templars can use.

The second thing i've wanted to ask if you guys have found any unique armors later on in the game.

I don't remember where I got them, but I've had a Templar Helmet (that anyone can use) and Templar Armor that only Templars can use. I haven't seen any other specialization-specific armor but I'm sure there has to be some.

there are 3 templar armors in game that I know of

1. in the circle tower theres a cut scene with a templar and a demon kill them and loot the templar

2. the deep roads theres a npc in orton thaig u can buy gear from if u dont kill him

3. theres a merchant out in front or Orzammar that has one

The merchant in front of Orzammar (Feryn) actually has the best set, as it's 'Knight-Commander' templar armor rather than just the basic stuff. Looks identical but better stats.

I am rather annoyed at the lack of upgrading materials on some of those unique sets. I really wanted Dragonbone Knight Commander gear on Alistair, could have made him nearly magic immune with that and Spellward...

The knight commander and commander sets in particular seem to be random drops. I've gotten the commanders armor and knight commander boots, RANDOMLY at the redcliffe vault. I've gotten the commanders gloves randomly in a chest doing the LAST slim couldry quest "Andrastes tears".

Armour sets in the game seem to be a joke. You get one or if your lucky 2 parts to the set and can never seem to make or find the third part. I wanted to get a full set of hardend duster leather for my rogue but all i got was gloves and none of the merchants sells the stuff.

Even having a hard time finding a full set of studded armour or plate for my tanks.

for these armors you only need the chest there are no set bonuses unlike the juggernaut,legion of the dead etc

There are set bonuses according to the descriptions. Juggernaut and Legion armour have stat boosts as well as set bonus. If you right click the item and see description of the item in the radia menu it tells you.

i know juggernaut and the like gives bonus, the templars ones dont have set bonuses , i guess i have worded my phrase wrong i guess it should have been unlike hehe gonna edit it so it s more understandable

Yep, the one available from Ruck (npc in Ortan Thaig) is actually a "unique" variant of the armor, very expensive and very powerful, not sure if it's tier 7 or not though.
