Pick three Squadmates from ME1 & ME2 to return as Squadmates in ME3.

It’s a tough choice, I know.  If I had to pick three more squadmates to return as NPC's only it would be:  Wrex.  I hated Wrex in ME1 but even though I could not play him in ME2, grew to like the guy even with the limited dialog options.  I would love to see him back as an NPC.  I liked Tali in the first Mass Effect but as she got more independence in ME2, she turned into more of a side character then a main party member.   Tali would make a great NPC.  Zaeed was a good soldier but would rather see him as an NPC, especially at the end battle.

I liked Ashley in ME1 but in ME2 she was a total c**t.  By the end of ME2 Miranda had gone more “middle of the road”, which is why I picked her over Ashley.  Mordin was interesting too (would make a good NPC) but in my playthrough he is dead.  RIP Mordin : (

There won't be any Bi romances in ME3. And even if there was, Miranda wouldn't be one of them.

Wrex (he was my permanent second squaddie for ME1, but I like how he's settling into his role on ME2, so I'll forgive him staying on Tuchanka)

Grunt (Likewise, he's needed more home)

Samara (I loved Samara, and the whole motherly vibe she gave my femShep. I think it would be cool to run some missions for her in Omega, or run into her being a superhero.)



I'm fine with whatever they want to do with the squad in M3--as long as I get to continue my Shep's romance with Garrus.

Tali (Same reason as Garrus)



Non-playable:

Joker (Dude, it's f**king Joker)

Mordin (I feel he's better placed as an NPC, or someone who just stays on the ship, but can't actually take into your party, like Kelly, or Presley)

Grunt (I like Grunt, don't get me wrong, but I want to see him take more responsibility in clan Urdnot. Also I had to shoot Wrex.)

Pick three PLAYABLE characters from ME1 & ME2 to return as PLAYABLE characters in ME3.

Tali - Tali has consistantly been tied for my favorite character with Garrus in each game
Garrus - See Tali
Liara - Had her as my LI in ME1, didn't like what she became in ME2, but want to see her redeem herself in ME3

Then, pick three previously playable (ME1/ME2) characters to return in ME3 as a NON-Playable characters.

Mordin - I absolutely love this guy, but he is fine in a NPC status since he can stay with the ship or whatever and research/build stuff for me.  But I definitely don't want to lose access to him.
Wrex - Wrex is just awesome.  But he's too busy with stuff with the Krogans to join up again. 
Miranda - While I'm not particularly fond of her, I think she is important enough to the story that she should stay around.

FYI: They have added two "classified" character spots on the list at BioWares Mass Effect website.  I guess in upcoming DLC we will see at least two new characters.  My choices might change based on these new characters but for now, that’s my list.  What are your thoughts and choices?

I would say that the two classified spots are meant to be for Legion and Morinth, since unlike Zaeed they don't show up on that page.

That said, I would pick Samara, Jack and Tali. Everyone else should return as a non-recruitable NPC.
