I think it's fair to say that Liara will definatly be in the next game as a Squadmate the signs are pretty obvious:

She's the only character in the ME1 squad that will DEFINATLY be in ME3 because she can't die. (I know Tali and Garrus can't die, but they can die in ME2 so they don't count.)

She's a Love Interest.

She's probally a really powerful biotic and thus needed.

She plays a huge role in the series. (Being the reason Shepard is alive in ME2, having her own comic, the many Ciphers she did with Shepard to help him understand the vision from Eden Prime, the fact no matter what your choices are in the game she strangly in love with Shepard no matter what your choices and even if Shepard isn't in love with her, etc.)

Among other things, Liara fans like myself can definatly be assured that Liara will be in the next game.

Oh and of course the other who i think will be in it?

Well, I'm not sure, I just know 100% that Liara will be a Squaddie in the next game, but I'm definatly hoping Wrex and Grunt will be in there. Two Krogan Teammates and Shepard = A power that even Chuck Norris is a little scared of...But only a little, infact he's not scared at all. But if he chose what's the scariest thing in the world besides himself, it would be that.
