For story purposes:

-- Tali -- Got to be good story tie-ins there with Quarians, Geth, etc.

-- Legion -- Ditto the above but from Geth perspective

-- ME1 or 2 LI



While I don't imagine they would tie in with the future story as well I'd miss Mordin and maybe Samara.

- Tali (I was one of those players who liked her in the first game, but didn't really notice her over anyone else. When Kelly mentioned that she probably liked Shepard, I was just like 'okay, that's probably just Shepard's Austin-Powers-like mojo having its usual effect, no big'. When you got the option to comfort her on her loyalty mission, I was like 'you know, maybe there's something to this whole romantic angle of hers after all. They look good together.' Then in the romance dialogs, the line 'I've watched you for so long, but I never thought you'd see past this.' pretty much sold me on her. Nice one Bioware writers.)



- Jack (Jack I liked mostly for combat; watching Shockwaves colliding with groups of enemies with stripped-off or no protection was fun and her demeanor was entertaining. The conclusion to her loyalty mission - where she's flicking the detonator like a lighter - was in my opinion, a great touch.)



- Legion (Having a geth on your squad is just awesome, would like it again.)

Tali-too cute a voice not to hear throughout the game, even if not a romaance.



Jack-I have to see how she turned out, and I want one alternate ending where we fly off together to be pirates after we save the galaxy.





Mordin-his speech patterns and logical honesty are infectious, I can't imagine the game without him. Kind of funny, before the game released, I found the race not interesting and the thought of him as nothing more than filler as my required tech research guy. .

Liara, Tali, and Ashley each of them have so much back-story and history with Shepard, it would be great to have them on the team for the finale.



As for the new people, I wouldn't mind seeing Mordin, Legion and Samara back as NPCs at least.

Sorry.. this is a trick question. haha..... I want them all back in it, from ME1 and ME2 plus new people.... for teammates definitely Grunt, Jack, Tali, Liara..... hopefully Wrex too but Grunt is so badass, Wrex may need to lead the krogran's against the Reaper's so it will be understandable.. but the migrant fleet can do without Tali, especially if you saved her friend. Oh yeah Legion too.... hmmm Garrus is kickass but if he becomes a spectre and leads a team of his own in the fight, that will be understandable.



I dunno, I really like all of the characters... but there are some that BETTER be in there, or else Kelly's gonna be dancing on strike til my demands are met.

i mean the new squad mates are awesome, but those 3 are my chosen ones, i think their just badass. And Ash is a little hottie ^ ^ lol.

Garrus. I never really liked him in ME1 but his vigilante style of killing a crapload of mercs and making all of Omegas criminal world fear him really made me warm up to him. And after that he is just awesome when he has the stick removed from his ass and use it to beat people to death, although I wish he could get some better battle banter, I couldn't bring him along as much as I wanted because I really hated his battle banter.

Tali. She was kind of ok in ME1. I never really liked her that much there, I thought Liara was alot more interesting and I mainly played a vanguard myself there so I usually brought along Garrus for the assault rifle. But she changed quite a bit in ME2 and I found myself swayed to the Talimance crowd. I want to keep her with me in ME3 and see how she develops away from the Migrant fleet and what kind of influence my very renegade Shepard has on her.

Liara. My personal favorite from ME1. She starts out like the cliche lady in disstress but she proves to be quite capable and most of all I think she is the one team member you can shape the most. And I really like how she took a level in badass. I want to be there in ME3 and urge her on as she slowly rips the Shadowbroker limb from limb, you know really slow, and using biotics to keep the blood loss to a minimum. It's so good to see she grew up into a person my renegade Shepard can be proud of. I just hope she is ok with a bit of an unconventional family involving a certain Quarian, if she's not then it will be a sad day for Tali.
