Isn't there, like, a rumor about there being Liara DLC with that screenshot of game files? In the same fashion as Kasumi?

I can't believe how much effort went into rewarding freaking stupidity or intentional homicide on the "suicide mission" with content versus the continuation of plot elements/characters or rewarding emotional investment and an actual interest in seeing the world and people in it. It wouldn't annoy me if it was a case of in ADDITION to, but it gets on my nerves when it is INSTEAD of.



My Redemption #2 finally came in today and I'm beyond underwhelmed and extremely bitter. "Liara and Feron talk to Aria about Shepard's body then watch said body fly away on a ship piloted by a Shadow Broker enforcer." is the entirety of what happens. Oh, there's another scene with Liara getting hit on and beating people up. Like what happened in the first one. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that will happen in the third and fourth ones as well.

yes, at least that is what it looks like. Of course we are hoping.

I've totally missed it. What evidence do we have that there is Liara focused dlc? Or is it just a rumor that got started and steamrolled?

Well it's a rumor at best, but it has some interesting support by what we have seen in the cookedpc folder in the ME2 directory for the PC version. Nothing is gauranteed, so that's why I say it is a rumor at best.

There are 2 files in the cooked folder for PC that have Liara DLC as part of the file name. Mac Walters confirmed last year there will be DLC involving the redemption storyline and ME2 in an ign article.

I've seen these files. They are just empty place-holders, atm, so there are no screens like with Kasumi.  There are also Kasumi files, and some of them are empty placeholders while some of them have content.   What this tells us is that they at least planned on Liara DLC and are hopefully continuing on with that plan. 

The Kasumi DLC should be released soon, I would believe, so it would make sense that she would have more finished content.

Maybe some info will be released closer to the conclusion of the comic? Or maybe longer than that while other DLC like Kasumi and the Hammerhead are released.

There's also another 'Liara DLC' file, a .pcc one.   I think it's called 'BioD_Liara_DLC.pcc'

I think this can give us hope that Liara might be temporarily recruitable for this DLC. They did name it 'Liara_DLC' and not 'Redemption_DLC' or something pertaining to the mission.



It woudl be kind of stupid if Liara gives you the mission and then refuses to go with you...she really wants to bring down the SB and she'll want to be there when it happens.

Ah. ok. Thanks. That's actually more solid evidence than I thought we'd have. It means it might actually be true.

yeah hope leads toward the dark side. which leads toward heartache. lol, sorry, yeah I'm quite hopeful too that this is Liara DLC. If so, my dreams will have come true.

As much as I want Liara DLC.... it'll all be meaningless if the romance doesn't play a part in it. I'm not asking for a full-blown sex scene, or pages and pages of additional dialogue. Just a few meaningful lines between Shepard and Liara that cement their relationship. That isn't too much to ask, is it?

I don't think the sex scene and pages and page of dialogue is too much to ask.

Sounds like Liara will come with a new place as well, judging by the names. I think OmgHub = Omega hub, CitHub = Citadel Hub. With Liara DLC comes TwrHub. A new place probably ...

It could be though that the friend that she mentions is actually her lover and that she is seeking revenge against the Shadow Broker because of that. Maybe she thought Shepard would not want her back after she gives him to Cerberus.

This is the interpretation I think we're meant to have taken from the hidden dialogue (which I totally missed on my main playthrough with my liara romance shep).

Its probable a new place will come within the DLC download. Since I found other files that had TwrHub but in addition had conrad, gianna, observer, quaslave, rachni etc attached with it. From my view I take it the DLC will start pretty much in Illium.

I noticed that BioWare must have something in plan for her, after all why keep her door open throughout the whole game? It might seem once you get the DLC, you can come back and ask her and she probably will have a new answer saying she found where the SB could be. Then maybe she and Shepard can go on a quest together I hope...
