Agree, disappointed with it. I wanted to jump over the desk and embrace her. After all you were dead, she should be very pleased to see you, but nay. Makes it feel like the romance was just a schoolboy crush and not important.
BW needs to release a romance DLC pack for those who stayed true to their ME LI's.
Just throwing my two cents into this fray...
I was disappointed as well by how the romance with Liara was dealt with. I understand it's been two years... but by her own admission she couldn't let you go. By her own admission she gave your body to Cerberus knowing they were going to bring you back. She unlike Ashley and Kaiden, she knew you were not "really" dead. Now as for this attitude towards the SB, if you were so hot and bothered about going after him for some perceived wrong doing, would you not go with Shepard in the hopes of using assets that Cerberus has that you may not?
I don't know about the rest of you... but I would be more happy to see a person I loved back from the dead than I would be angry at the Shadow Broker for trying to sell your body. Her reactions to you are cool and aloof, and I find it hard to believe that given her position now, she would not be able to send you some sort of message after you have left to at least let you know that she still loves you.
Her reactions in my opinion are those of someone who saved an old lover but fell in love with the man who helped her to save this old lover in the process. That is why she is so furious and angry and all evil towards the Shadown Broker. A part of me gets the feeling we're going to see her come back in ME3 asking for our help in rescuing the Drell who she loves now.(That would really s**k in my opinion.) But it is also the reason they gave us the LIs in ME2.
Would I rather a large reunion and romance sub plot in ME3... heck yes!!! I guess we are just going to have to suffer through until ME3 comes out or a DLC comes out to address this issue.
