Hello Bioware, I love the game its brilliant, love the graphics, love the story, love it lots. However based upon my reading of blood magic lore in the game and the Awesome (Spoiler Warning).

Quest in the Fade where you encounter the brilliant designed Demon of Desire, I was hoping for a end tier power to summon said demon of desire, however there does not appear to be any way of summoning demons in this game (you have a sort of limited necromancy via the spirit path), I was hoping that prehaps in a future DLC or release you would include some vairaiton on blood magic which is a little more intersting (its not very useful for a mage to use his health for mana as far as I can see) and prehaps contains the ability to form compact's with demons (esp the Demon of Desire model, it was very awesome).

Cheers,

The Dust of the Undead,

NyarghoDirge.

So you basically want DLC to let you eyeball the Desire Demon..Because blood magic is weak of course....mhmm ^.^ There's enough interweb resources available to satisfy your Desire (No Pun Intended) without the need to ask for DLC ^.^ Also: The Toolkit is out, make a ranger mod if you really wanna eye kanoodle the Desire Demon all day ^.^

no one spells "desire" with a capital "D", that pun was so intended.

Uh...I liked the desire demon model as well and not simply because ZOMG SHE'S ALMOST TEH NEKKID.

Some people are capable of just appreciating how something looks. Heavens forfend someone actually like Rubens because he's capable of rendering a beautiful female form instead of TEH BEWBIES. Quit transferring your own immature mindset to others. kkthx.

Also, I wouldn't mind some additional Blood Magic usefulness in a DLC or expansion.  The Sloth and Pride demons during the Mage origins are very, very nicely done!

Is blood magic actually necessary to bind demons? I seem to recall several conversations where the two disciplines are spoken of as if they are separate.

Blood magic would probably make it easier, yeah. It's very powerful. But I don't think you actually need it.

Seeing as, according to in-game lore, blood magic comes from demons, I would definitely expect some more demon involvment from the blood magic specialization. I haven't actually played a blood mage myself, but I did get a peek at their abilities through Jowan and lets just say they didn't strike me as powerful as blood magic is described to be.

Blood Magic may not seem that awesome on it's own (didn't for me) but in some situations it's spells are almost irreplaceable.

Blood Wound makes some very difficult encounters trivial.

Blood Wound makes ALL encounters trivial. Nothing like a free stunlock while you set up SotC on the field.

Yes, all I need is another pet that will disappear every time I walk through some door.

Unless you are fighting Demons or Undead or are under level 14.
