Looks very awesome indeed.
I was adicted to Fallout 3 when I first played it for quite some time.
The only thing that was disappointing was the ending and the random crashing.
But I look forward to this new one^_^

And KOTOR 2 characters dry? You've gotta be kidding me.
I know that KOTOR2 was a little unfininished because they ran out of time but all in all the story was a masterpiece. I found KOTOR2 far more interesting than KOTOR1(no offence to Bioware but KOTOR 1 feels pretty second rate in comparison.) Kreia especially is the character that made the game truly outstanding.

I'm sorry but I can not see that at all. I own Kotor 2 & I have never even finished it there is nothing in that game to keep me moving forward. All the levels are poorly done they just feel way too long & drug out. The characters are so boring compared to KotOR. I love the chemicals, looting, breaking down, making new itmes along with the new robs & force powers. The story didn't open up for me even after 25 hours in & the characters were just all a burden. If I remember correctly there was only 1 character I cared for at all which was the war vet(something like that lol memory is hazey its been a long while). I've wanted to finish it to give the game a far personal review but I mean I could just play KotOR, DA:O, AVP, ME2, Gears of War or countless other games I actually enjoy from reliable developers who haven't ruined my sequels lol.
I'm glad to know someone likes but I really can't understand why.

Obsidian can't even finish one game and they're moving on to another?

Alpha Protocol has been in development for about 5 years

NWN2 is still full of bugs

Game developers can work on two games at once.

Oh, and I can't wait for the new Fallout game.

And it was delayed for about 5 months (back in october) because it was "poorly" finished and was less of an RPG than Mass Effect (which isn't a full RPG to begin with)

I'm not looking forward to AP anymore. Fallout New Vegas looks good, but i'll leave my full judgement for when i see gameplay vids.

Don't worry. SEGA is making sure that Alpha Protocol isn't ruined by glitches.

Bugsidian has trouble finishing ANY game
KOTOR2 was cut in half
NWN2 is the buggiest game ever
Alpha Protocol has been delayed a milion times

I've been through NWN2 many times and it has never given me any trouble. Only played KotOR2 once, but that also ran stably on my not-very-wonderful system. In contrast, KotOR froze a few levels in and corrupted all my save games, making me start from the beginning. Just another perspective.

This is a tad hyperbolic. Perhaps more than a tad. KotOR2 was not cut in half. It was missing one major area: the droid planet where the HK-50 factory was supposed to be located. Other than that they clearly diced the endgame to bits. That is hardly half. In the latter case it was something that could have changed perception of KotOR2 completely; but that is a matter of closure and presentation, not sheer length.

NWN2 was not remotely the buggiest game, or even RPG ever. That honor belongs to one of: Pools of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, The Temple of Elemental Evil, or Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. I will also point out BioWare left Baldur's Gate 2 a bug ridden mess, and it was only the efforts of modders that repaired the lion's share of those. Fallout 3 was hardly a bug free game either. Neverwinter Nights 2 *does* still have some mechanics bugs, but the game has come a looong way since release and is very playable if you update it; online or off.

Alpha Protocol was delayed, to my knowledge, thrice. That is hardly close to a million. Obsidian *is* capable of a relatively bug free release, as was the case with Mask of the Betrayer which only had two major bugs when it launched, one of which was patched right away and the other that only affected the warlock class. Obsidian's key issue is not QA; it is ambition. They tend to reach high and fall short, or at least they did in the past. Considering how much smoother their two NWN2 expansions were, I believe they finally learned not to overextend themselves on projects. I'm willing to give them at least one more chance.

Yeah,I also heard some of the originals from the fallout series are on that dev team so I doubt it will even be close to bad maybe even superior.

I am... hopeful at this point. I am not quite sure what this game is supposed to be. I'm hoping it is not just being treated as a side project, as it has a lot of potential to bring the original Fallout feeling (colors that aren't brown and gray, anyone :P?) into the new Bethesda-style FO world. Not that I disliked FO3, just the contrary, and I was rather neutral on gameplay changes, but the story and setting were excellent in the originals, and I feel with the move west and reintroduction of FO2 story elements (NCR!) gives it a great deal of potential that I wouldn't want to see wasted.

I guess we'll just have to wait for more information. Having to wait for ME2 is already killing me, and now this... :(

The video was not very inspiring. If it was meant to create an interest/buzz about the game then it failed for me.

At first, I admit that I was pretty excited. Then later, I was thinking, "Way to copypasta the original Fallout 3 trailer, Obsidian!"

Let then talk, you do know that fallout 3 is based on fallout 1 and 2 intros which just out of coincidence were made by Black Isle creators of Fallout which AGAIN out of coincidence most of them are working for Obsidian now? So if i wanted to be picky i would say fallout 3 is the one copying fallout 1 and 2 intros and since Black Isle made the franchise they have all the rights in the world to make a intro a la Fallout...

Going back to the Nevada desert hearing 50's songs on my pip boy killing rad scorpions, raiders and Super mutants with what looks like a kick ass new Hero from "Vault 7" in which S.P.E.C.I.A.L is back with my most beloved Perks and for those brothers and sisters true RPG'ers out there that cant play shooters with VATS??? Hell yeah i'm in at least this year ill get a decent RPG to play with.

And who from my generation didnt have goose bumps when Ron Pearlman said his famous "war, war never changes" with the New California flag there? Its memory lane all over again to Fallout 2. And the ratpack baby!

I'm more than sure that the trailer was made by the folks at Bethesda.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Vault 8 is Vault City, no? So, if we look a bit to the south east of the world, we could say it's fairly possible the game will include a Vault 7. And the more nearby, Vault 12 being the Necropolis vault. Apart from the obvious vault 15 and 13, I know of no other in the zone...

Oh, here's a list of all vaults : http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault
