I bought Mass Effect 1 because I loved Dragon Age and saw ads for Mass Effect 2. M.E.1 is still an awesome game even after two years. So, I was thinking something I would really look forward to is an Expansion for M.E.1 similar to D.A..'s upcoming expansion. Maybe give us an option to play through our own holy grail quest that leads Liara to giving Cerberus Sheppard's body? More importantly the expansion would tie into additional scenes/choices in M.E.2.

They aren't developing for ME 1 any longer, its all ME 2 now (until ME 3 comes out)

umm now that ME2 is out it is impossible for there to be an expansion for the older game

Its not impossible (they still have the code base) it just is highly unlikely [i.e. not going to happen] and not an efficient method of time/resource allocation.

Bioware has declared that they're not making any DLC for ME1 anymore, so it would be highly unlikely that they'd make an expansion (which would chew up even more time and resources) for ME1.
