May the biotics be with you! Don't fall to the path of the closed fist!

I reckon Bioware could pull this off but lots of people wouldn't like it and it'd be kind of a cult thing.

Basically we just need a game which is a crossover of all other games.

I want to have the bat from pong as a companion character.
The loyalty quest can be a fight against the evil bat from pong.

Saying that, I wish they could do a crossover of the character creator from DA into ME...

try reading roger zelazny's chronicles of amber. its sort of fantasy, and sort of sci fi. actually its both and neither. very well written regardless. def my favorite books.

Majorly +1

I've read 150-200 books a year for the last twenty plus years and the series is in my top three.

And for on topic:
I like both games but would prefer them to stay seperate.

Now, while I wouldn't recommend Bioware go this route, it is entirely possible for DA:O to take place within the ME universe. Magic? Perhaps just an evolution of naturally occuring biotic abilities. Darkspawn? Perhaps a Reaper crashed on the planet during their last invasion. This Reaper is still alive, but incapacitated. However, it is still able to indoctrinate creatures that get too close and has manipulated their DNA to be more suitable for its purposes. For example, a neurotoxin present in the blood that makes creatures more susceptable to indoctrination. The Fade could just be an offshoot of biotic evolution, allowing people to link their minds in a mass hallucination.

Easter Egg: The moon in Dragon Age is the exact same moon as the one you see in Major Kyle's quest in ME1.

@ the OP, terrible, terrible idea.

That's because Bioware is just using stock images of various celestial bodies in the solar system. :P I've heard that the moon of the Dragon Age world is actually a picture of Mars; that huge 'scar' you see is actually the Valles Marineris. (Go ahead and Google it!)

But back on topic: While I like both fantasy and science-fiction, I'd prefer they remain separated. Keep your magic and soul-eating demons out of my science-fiction, and keep your guns and FTL travel out of my fantasy. Just because two things are delicious (e.g. bacon and chocolate) doesn't mean that combining the two will make them taste even more awesome.

Not possible.

Story is:

Darkspawn won the war

Darkspawn advanced in technology

Darkspawn created reapers

Darkspawn killed by reapers

The Cycle had begun

the scientist who discovered the mars prothean ruins which led to the solar system mass relay were descendants of the grey wardens, who 10000 years ago ended all the seven blights and vanished old gods forever, now, the grey warden order is not a fighting organization but one who seeks the greater good for humanity, composed by scientists and businessman.

The Illusive man is a renegade grey warden who believed aliens were creations of the old gods and fights what he thinks it's a "galaxy blight", the Reapers being the oldest servants of the old gods, sloth demon-possessed machines created by an extint race. And while biotics control the dark matter with implants, old mages did it with lyrium, which was consumed totally 5000 years ago, closing forever the fade connection with the real world.

I think it'd be interesting, but not really doable when you consider how many people on both sides would just get ticked off about it.

Definitely interesting though.
