She asks you to surrender and that stupid b*tch daughter of Loghain betrays you. Basically if you fight, you die but then you get caught.. it's as though it's a storyline thing.

I run back to other room.so you can get away from the archer after that you take leader and some meele down.ur mage will do the rest.

My party died, but I beat her. I didn't realize I was supposed to lose.

If you do not have some very powerful Area spells, do not even bother.

I was able to lure her into the other room away from the archers and killed her. I pretty much had to spam heal and use pots on the tank cause she was wrecking him, but after she was down the rest was cake

Is this just before the Landsmeet? I mean I had to use potions but it wasn't that difficult.

Yeah its right after you rescue the queen, on your way out you run into her and shes all like IM HERE TO ARREST YOU. I was going to have none of that

My friend did it on the console-version, I tried and "almost" did it. I guess trio-mage with AOE would have worked, but for other classes? probably very hard...

I tried once but then I took the high road which I'm glad b/c we made peace later. does she give you any good loot anything unique? if not then i don't regret it aside from xp loss.

Wait, you were meant to lose that? I managed to keep my mage alive and kept everyone inside an area effect spell until they died.

Beat her on nightmare, not particularly harder than most other fights, spam CCs all over the place, slaughter weaker melee opponents than go for the orange named.

But you should wait before the landsmeet before fighter her, you miss a whole quest if you kill her when rescue the queen, just surrender.

Doh - I killed her just cause I wanted vengeance on that whole nasty setup.

My god does she hit like a truck though O.o

When I encountered her in the landsmeet entrance I talked my way past her, on condition of not killing Loghain - it was Arl Howe I really hated, not Loghain. (I wondered if Loghain was possessed though, on account of the description of how flowers withered on his touch, but saw no way to find that out.).



Ultimately, I killed Loghain after all, but I was not happy about being blackmailed into it.
