Unfortunately the geth don't really reveal anything about them, they have some similar body structure, but that doesn't say anything about what's under the suit.

I hope that's not what Tali really looks like, or else my Shepherd made a horrible mistake!

What if they are actually hiding an appendage? Like the Twi'lek tails... Surprise-surprise.<br />

Not that anyone would mind, I'm sure.

Quarians would be ten million times more awesome if they all looked like this

There, a better picture of something I found while using googlesearch. :) I think someone on deviantArt made it, but I could find it there to give proper credit.

I actually really like this look. Not sure about the hair, but the facial features and appearance is nice.

I change my stance form months ago. I think... I thinK, it might be better if they dont reveal her features. TO be honest I got the perfect idea in my mind. So it 'd have to be pretty close to please me.

Cosmicinator wrote...Humans tend to be attracted to certain types of hair colour, blonde generally being the highest craved.

HUH?? Where did that come from? Maybe it's true in the present, and I love blondes, but this statement doesn't ring true to me historically. Charles Darwin once wrote a paper trying to explain the declining blonde population. His hypothesis was that it was caused by the fact that darker-haired women were always preferred for mates (since time immemorial). His explanation is no longer considered valid (in fact, Darwin's whole take on race was that it developed because of arbitrary beauty standards in isolated locations dictating mate selection. This has definitely been disproved) but that's not the point. His hypothesis was considered valid because blondes were definitely not preferred in Darwin's day. In fact, if you go back as recently as turn-of-the-century Hollywood, the biggest female stars were dark-haired. The movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) is a movie title that would make little sense 50 years earlier.

Yep, its a necro thread.

That aside though; as long as Quarians have hair, I'm perfectly fine with whatever Bioware comes up with. Its not like they're going to be beast-people or anything; we can plainly see that they resemble humans, and from Ascension we gain a lot about their physiology. (Assuming they don't contradict what Drew wrote, AGAIN.)

I just want there to be at least ONE other race aside from humans that actually have hair. Batarians don't count.

I've read through the entire thread.. there has been some hilarious ideas on here aswell as some quality ones, but I didn't see any reference to this kind of look, which is what I was kind of imagining but with a proper nose (you can nearly always see a quite pointy nose through the quarian visor)

Know the threads gone quiet but just wanted to throw that in there

The only problem I ever had with that picture, is that I think it makes her look "too" human.

Still saved it, 'cause its a damn fine piece of work, but for a member of an alien race? Nnnnn.....

Love the mass effect story, but concerning biology there was enough abiogenesis aka Organic evolution and Macro evolution to choke richard dawkins while he has his morning tea.
While playing this game though I loved the characters with a passion I rarely invest into stories and games, I couldnt help but feel bogged down by the gigantic amount of propaganda in this game. Evolution meaning Cosmic, Chemical, Stellar/planetary, Organic, And Macro evolution are outside the field of science and it is wrong to indoctrinate people through the media especially in games they love. true the whole game was central to the ideology of abiogenesis and macro evolution happening at an almost spontaneous rate hence the primitive life of the humans, asari, volus, Hanar, Turians... etc etc. I constantly got the message that the universe is of atheistic purist, purely naturalistic uniformitarinistic origins. and while that being some people beliefs (which they have a right to have), I found it incredibly annoying the amount of excessive bombardments of this ideology.
like 50,000 years to evolve the salarians from mindless amphibians to highly intellectual demi gods of science.
the biology of the races was also propaganda IMO most of the races were bipedal and non asexual. where as with extensive macro evolution it would make far more sense for all life to be asexual with a constant amount of beneficial mutations (not that I have ever seen any).
so concerning Quarian physiology I would have to express that it was also Evolutionary propaganda claiming that life could not only co exist but co evolve with a retro virus... very unscientific. Howver I thought the quarians were probably the sexiest out of all of them studying the armor fittings xD.

My biggest issue with this is the debate on what Tali looks like when Bioware gave us a picture albeit a stock doctored photo of the voice actress, instead you should be asking why didn't Bioware make a credible character model of Tali unmasked instead of giving us what they did, it wouldn't a have taken much to do. Scene where she and Shepard meet in his cabin before the assault on the Cerberus base, one shot of Tali taking off her mask with her back facing the camera, pan the camera close on Shepard to use as an excuse so Tali can remove her hood and helmet off screen pan around to focus on her face and give us all what we've wanted but nope we got the stock photoshopped picture frame *gee* thanx.
