I think it would of been cool if there had been more things like the Samara/Morinth choice were you have to pick between 2 people to join your squad. The 2 ones of come up with so far would be:

1: Picking Mordins assistance instead of Mordin

2: Not betraying the mercs and killing Garrus and then having a Batarian Blue Suns merc join you

Thought of 2 more

1: Having that male Quarian with the heavy weapon join you instead of Tali. That one who you can tell to cover you or stay down.

2: Betraying Miranda in her loyalty quest and getting that Asari captain to join you. Would be awesome if after the Asari kills Nikel you can say you like the way she works and if she wants to join you. You could tell her Cerberus would cover her fees. If she joins Miranda would get really angry and leave.
