Hey,

Anyone knows how or where can I disable this intro movie? Was fun the first 3 times but frankly it annoys the heck out of me now, when I play a new game and each and every time it replays it and none of the keys seem to cancel it. Is there some ini file where I can tell to ME2 that "Yes, I've seen it many times, was fun back then but now it's annoying me so just stop wasting my time!"

Try renaming the BWLogo.bik and ME_EAsig_720p_v2_raw.bik files (just change the tag to .bak). They're found in (on Windows XP default: C:Program Files->Mass Effect 2->BioGame->Movies) If you want to disable a bunch more (to bypass many of the new character movies). Check This Thread for further instructions.

WEll you can alt-tab, and the intro will still continue.

Ah, thanks for this information Rest of the movies are OK, they're rather short, it just gets annoying that each time I start a new game I have to yet again sit for several minutes and watch a re-run of the same movie. I know soon every word everyone says there and can re-enact all their movements, sheesh.. I just want the game to "go off" ASAP when I select a "New Game"

its hard to believe they wouldnt have thot of a bypass ... in most games you can just push escape or spacebar and move along nicely ... alas !!



maybe someday we'll get a game where we can chose to just let joker fry.



... a day when there will be multiple beginnings ... and endings. randomized.
