Right, just finished my second play through.
First one I decided to go for the nobody dying ending on Paragon- success, will hopefully use the save in ME3.
Second play through- upped the difficulty to expert and went Renegade in order to try and get the all dead ending.
Didn't do any upgrades on the ship. Think I may have accidentally upgraded whole crew shields and weapons. Got loyalty of the minimum amount of people the game lets you have. (wanted no loyalty, but the story wouldnt advance, so had to pick a few).
So, IFF ready, jump through the Omega4 relay. 3 people died before we even landed on the base, so I thought, good start. Tali got a mouthful of rocket. Zaeed kicked the bucket, then Jacob whilst getting people back to the ship. By the last rendezvous point, i had 5 people left. 2 I took with and the others remained. Somehow, we all survived! 
Just wanted to know whats up with that and if anyone knew how to get the all dead ending? I bet it was the Space hamster that i bought on the Citadel.
any info appreciated and sorry if this topic was discussed to hell and back. Expert mode was hard-_-
