I'm currently playing ME2. I imported my character from ME1. My question is this, if you do NOT import a character from ME1, what is the state of the galaxy in ME2?

For example, in my save...

Wrex lives
Ashley dies
The council dies
I chose Anderson to lead the council

From what I gathered when I imported my save, these are the main decisions that affect the galaxy in ME2.

If you start a new game, what happens in the above decisions? Do you get to "pick" what would have happened in ME1? I'd like to know the answer to this without having to start a new game in ME1 or ME2.

Also, are there any other MAJOR decisions that affect your game in ME2?

If anyone can shed some light on this without me having to go through ME1 again, I would greatly appreciate it...

If male:
Kaiden dies
Love with Ashley

If female:
Ashley dies
Love with Kaiden

The council dies, you can choose the lead the council by dialog in shuttle to freedomport

so there is absolutely no way to change those decisions in a new game?

I started a new character in ME2 and Wrex is dead. The council is dead and Udina is one of its new members.

in The hardcover book it says it would ask you those questions, but it doesn't. major Flaw Love the game but, you can't say this is a game built on decisions when it makes them for you. I had a couple characters from me1 and none would import. very upsetting maybe they will fix this with a free dl patch so you can play all aspects of this game. but enough ****ing about a awesome game.

I saved the council , saved Wrex, killed Ashley and chose Anderson. but the phucing game wouldn't import my character
