Melakthi's tutorial for the URL-thingy-ma-jiggy:

Step 1
Type the text you want shown as a link and highlight it with your mouse like so:


Step 2
Open the URL-thingy-ma-jiggy and copy paste the URL you want to link to into the following box like so:


Click OK and you have your link.

There is an alternative without the URL-thingy-ma-jiggy!
Click BBCode and the text window will change like so:



and type it all out in BBCode like so:

{URL=http://whatever the address is}Whatever you want to call the link{/URL}
replacing { with [ and } with ]
To add an image this way manually, use the IMG tag like so:
{URL=http://whatever the address is}{IMG}http://whatever the image address is{IMG}{/URL}
again replacing { with [ and } with ]

This ends the beginners URL-thingy-ma-jiggy and BBCode tutorial.

Edit: Please note that the thingy-ma-jiggy can add images to your post twice, if you have copypasted the complete correct BBCode into the thingy-ma-jiggy
