Alright, I've figuerd I'll just put up a topic to get all the people write thier problems and solutions here instead of making tons of different topics, this is just to make it easier to find back and so that we can easier find solutions for each other.

Alright, well my problem was that I continously got blue screens and Dragonage.exe errors after I've arrived to Loathering. (I think it's called that) Anyway, I got so frustrated so I actually rebooted my computer all way back to point zero. I installed all my drivers and I didn't make any uppgrade just so that would check if it was a driver problem, and you know what? - It helped.

I played all the way to and past loathering with no crashes no freezes and no bluescreens what so ever, not even once. It made so happy so I thought I could share the information with you all.

My specs are the following and I've only installed the drivers for me motherboard Graphic card and all the updates for windows xp actually.

Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd
GA-MA790X-UD4 (Gigabyte Motherboard - the dual copper fiber layer one with easy saver and those things.)

AMD Phenom™ II X4 940 Processor,  MMX,  3DNow (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

ATI Radeon HD 4890  1024MB

I'm not a 100% sure of wich one of the drivers that had problems but I would guess the graphic card since I read in some other post about someone saying you could get it working by using an older version of catalyst.

Windows 7 HP(64bit), updated to current
4x 1.5TB HD's (5400rpm)
( comp is 8 month old )
installed windows new 4 days ago with current drivers


game crashed to desktop about 5-6 times in the last 2 days (minor, but anoying)

Bluescreen in midgame (and 5x after pressing play, right after)
Saying: 'IRQL_not_less_or_equal' (whatever that means)


p.s. opend the configure.exe and ran it, no problem there,, hit play after and had the same bluescreen ^^


finally the bluescreens stoped..now i only get the messegae my config is wrong i need to reinstall..

thb, BIOware if you cant fix a game in 1 year i dont want your software
this was the last one i bought from you and i only bought it 5 days ago
DLC problems, crashes and bluescreens, if you were a onlinegame i wouldnt even end my (free) 30 days that usually come with the game.
I play computergames since 1982 and this is the worst sh i t i had to endure short of worldwar2 online
