the codes are reusable. and the only people mad about reusable codes are the poor ignorant sods that traded away terminus or inferno codes for something they could have gotten legit buy borrowing codes already used. if dr pepper or bioware didnt want the codes to be reused they would have most certainly thought of this before.

Maybe you should leave the forums cause the last time i checked it may be legal but it isn't legit. What this is, is a exploit and it's considered cheating. Infact i'm gonna go contact the webmaster about this cheat and hopefully have the thread removed that are in the wrong.

so I created a tut



So far there are 2 pages of thanks and appreciation for what I have done and there are more pages for where they were originally posted



So I and the other person have helped many people who didn't have access to Dr. Peppers and wanted more content for ME2 since it seriously lacked content

Your logic is seriously flawed and the last time i checked i'm not scamming anyone i'm trading legit accounts made with seperate legit keys to keep trading options and codes from my roommates. Your tut is a exploit which means using a bug to your advantage. Just because your helping lots of people in the process it doesn't mean that you have the right to do so. you need to open your eyes and see that it really doesn't matter
who cares if a person can get a download for Mass Effect 2 without having to go after a bottle of Dr. Pepper

if they still want to then thats their business
if they enjoy Dr. Pepper then they will get one anyways
if they don't enjoy Dr. Pepper than they can get the code from the tut in my sig
if they can't even buy Dr. Pepper due to their parents or what country they are in then they can use the codes in my sig


I really don't care and this argument has been one of the most pointless I have ever been a part of, and we are doing it over a website which isn't that great to have an argument on

We really really need a "bang your head on the wall" emoticon.  There is nothing "exploitive" about this.  If you contact Dr Pepper they will SEND you one of the 5 codes that have been listed.  They have to do this BY LAW if they don't do this then I believe this promotion would be classed as "gambling" ie when you buy a Dr Pepper you are "gambling" on getting a DLC code.  So in reality it is actually Dr Pepper using an exploit to do this promotion.

You will probably find that the "legit" codes on bottles are pretty much the same there are probably only a few dozen DLC codes and they are reusable.  There is nothing special about the codes you get with the drinks you just like to think there is.

At the end of the day I think it is reasonable to speculate that Dr Pepper leaked these codes themselves to try and cut down the amount of mail they are getting.  So in fact you are actually doing them a favour by using the codes from the net rather than sending them a stamped address envelope and have them go through the hassle of sending you a code.  But hey lets all ignore the fact that Dr Pepper has to offer free codes it is just the law there to PROTECT you.
