Anyone else with tinnitis/ringing in their ears having flare-ups from the sound effect of the sound muting during a rocket launch/explosion?

I got tinnitis last year after I fired a gun without wearing ear protection, and the sudden muting caused by rocket attacks in the game is causing flare-ups in my right ear.
