The Joker mission is especially awesome. ****, ****, ****.
The renegade interrupt  when you electrocute that Blue Suns mercenary en route to Garrus. "You work too much" if i recall correctly.
I don't think anyone mentioned it, I found that sequence when Shepard is recovered and rebuilt very awesome, viewing from those medical cams inside his veins + the awesome music on the background. That was a great scene.
First exploration of the Collector vessel was haunting, the scenery and the music was great.
+ all that you posted before, paragon/renegade interrupts, Tali's trial, Thane's surveillance mission, etc.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned blowing up the Collector ship with the Thranx cannon. That one moment vindicated the (literal) pain of collecting resources for the ship upgrades. And it was a very overdue payback.

Also, my last shot against the Human Reaper was a warp blast that flew straight to its eye, and as soon as it hit the achievement popped for reaching level 30. I felt like such a badass then.

The final blow when killed the reaper was a sniper shot through the eye, I am a soldier, ran out of heavy ammo and rifle ammo, so whip out my never used sniper rifle, and BOOM HEADSHOT.

Definetly the scene with Garrus when you play as a paragon. When you stand in front of the crosshairs and explain to Garrus's target what Garrus intends to do. Garrus gets pissed off, things get tense and then you realize that Garrus's target isn't a bad guy, he just made a stupid mistake and then Garrus realizes that Shepard made a good decision.

 I didn;t stop garrus even though Im paragon, didn't know waht to do. well good thing Im doing many playthroughs.

This moment for me was changed as more crowning awesomeness appeared. The apex of awesomeness for me was:

First time I'd ever gotten the chills from a video game voice over.

This. Talis loyalty mission was intense. It was around then that "Yay, Tali is back" turned into something more. One of the best loyalty missions, one of the best characters.

Then there's of course the suicide missions. Had me almost gnawing at my fingers who to send into the vents. And having both Tali and Garrus lying under rubble at the end (especially tali with the rubble being about as big as herself) was tense. I was like "not her, not now, not after everything went so well"
So much for the chilling moments. As for the hilarious ones, there are too much to count. Volus Adept, Krogan headbutt, Urz, Sir ****** Isaac Newton...really too many to count

my favorite moment of awesomeness was the minute my infiltrator got the widow sniper. well...basically every moment after that. trumped only when i finally beat insanity with an m90 cain shot to the human reaper head as i was totally out of thermal clips on all other weapons

I liked finishing Grunt's rite of passage and then having EDI inform us that 2 Krogan females have requested to breed with Grunt and 1 with Shepard.

I don't consider myself a Tali fan really, barely paid attention to her in ME1. However, her loyalty mission in ME2 gets me every time. Hands down the best in my opinion, and that's saying a lot since I enjoyed every one of the loyalty missions except Zaeed's. Especially the final trial, and both the Paragon and Renegade options to persuade the Admiralty board; and the following convo with Tali finishes it off nicely, "We can still go back in and get you exiled if you want."



You never see either your face, nor hers, yet there's so much emotion in the voices and body language. Absolutely fantastic.

Some more Awsome moments:

1. The Unexpected 'game changer' moment when you realize you can swap Samara for Morinth. I did not see that one coming. A move so horrible and unexpected, even TIM is fooled. One of a few options you could do in game to start stacking cards against Cerberus.

2. Your 'Line in the Sand' speech before omega. I gave myself chills. "The Collectors want to see what we're made of? I saw we show them exactly what we're made of. On our Terms."

3. Mordin making fun of ME1's 'Line in the sand' speech. "Hold the line!"

4. And the most Awesome: Getting drunk with Dr. Chakwas and having her tell the story of Kaidan & Jenkins. "That was awesome!!"

Yeah, those speeches are awesome. Such a great idea to be able to create your own dramatic moment like that. And the music just fits in brilliantly. So good.

2. Shepard's speeches. "Not one more (human)" . . . .

3. Moving through the swarms using biotics.

4. The Normandy punching a hole through the Collector ship. I don't like Joker much, but he was right on "How do you like that, you [censored] ?!!!"



I have to say Jack's intro could have used a bit more awesomeness. Like her flying & tunneling her way through one of those heavy mechs.
