I've been doing a fiar number of decapitations wielding twin axes. I've not seen another character other my own do it, even though both Zevran and Leiliana are wielding sword and dagger. I did progress a fair ways with sword and shield proficiencies and some of the higher developed moves are pretty cool, like assault.

Heh, I'm a sword and shield type all the way I think. I really enjoy all that bashing. ;) Decapitations kind of freak me out a little.... :)

See, decapitations are one of the reasons I'm so crazy about DW.

They also make those personal kills all the more satisfying. (Not shown: Sten in the next room, decapitating a Qunari mage. Also fitting).

Okay, that just really cemented my feeling that I don't ever want to play a DW character, and that it's probably a good thing that I don't use Leiliana of Zevran all that much. ;)

My favourite is when it bugs in the Fade nightmares and you can talk to a headless Flemeth.

I think we can all be glad that we can't decapitate characters that have post-fight/pre-death cutscenes. Although it might make the Landsmeet a little more interesting.

My HNF rogue decapitated Ser Cautherine, definitely a high point of my game, I called my husband over to look, but didn't screenshot it. Damn!

Wondering about lelianna decaping Marjorlaine. I see a couple of reports/screenshots here saying that's what happened in their playthrough.

Oddly enough, happened to me too. Wonder if it's scripted that way?

When it happened to me, I was thinking 'Glad you got that out your system, Leli me girl.'

You can! When you rescue Anora, fight Ser Cauthrien, pull her in the room where you found Anora, fight her and decapitate her. Then go back to the other room and lose the fight.
Later, when you go to the Landsmeet you will meet her again and you will think "Hey! In Ferelden they must have highly-developed medicine or why she has her head back!"

Marjolaine is a boss character...and unless you play with the scripting (nexus) most 'fancy kills' occur on bosses :)

I see my rogue pcs do it and I think I saw Zevran do it once. I try to look away fast and pretend I didn't see it.:o

In my first playthrough, Ohgren ended Branka's insanity by cleaving her head clean off her shoulders. I think it added a couple more levels of emotional scarring to the ol' dwarf.

DECAPS ROCK! They don't happen too often but when they do I pay extra attention for a juicy sound. I play dual weildin 90% of the time just cuz it's too much dam fun. The only thing almost as satisfying is when I'm an archer and an enemy is runnin towards me and drops cuz of a random head shot LOL oohhhhh right in the eye! 1st time i saw that i nearly izzed in my pants
Edit: it's funny sometimes when it's a being with no blood and all of a sudden *poof* headless

Eeeee! Poor guy! And to chop her head of.... I try and make sure that Oghren isn't the one to kill Branka. That's not generally a problem, since he usually gets knocked out before the end ot the fight. ;) In fact it's most often Alistair doing her in by himself, although sometimes the PC of Morrigan are still standing.

i'm always a dw rogue it seems and i get the decaps pretty regularly. it's coolest when the head disappears but the disembodied eyes remain in place. that only seems to happen a low percentage of times though.

Love the killing moves, although  I still think the beheading-noise is pretty disgusting. Never really noticed it until I started playing with headphones: hearing that "squish-slobber-drip-drip"-sort of noise at full blast was slightly disturbing...
