[REQ] Walk/Run mod for Party members

I need this badly - its pretty much the only thing that annoys the hell out of me. Them running like chickens behind me when Im walking around taking the scenery.

Is it necessary to have access to the toolset for a mod like this or can you change it with hex or perhaps in some config/ini file?

I hope someone can do this, I find it annoying too... maybe a group toggle switch that sets everyone to walk. I know that if you switch to one of the members you can make them walk... but if you go back to your main, then they revert back to run.

Since the toolset is borked on my computer I cant mod until I figure out why. And for now its more interesting to play the actual game, than mod.



But Im still very much a fan of getting this fixed. Theres so many situations where its more appropriate to have your party walk than to run like confused chickens behind you.

What if you select all 4 characters and toggle to walk?



It may not be the solution you want (and I cant test it while at work) but it will probably confirm that the toggle only exists for the controlled character(s). In which case the AI script that makes the other characters follow you around is probably just issuing a go-to-location command with no consideration at all for whether the character they are approaching is walking or running (the same thing happens if you click-navigate with walking toggled - you will run to the clicked location rather than walking).



So my guess is that in order to have uncontrolled party members walk, a change would have to be made to this core function, to pass the status of the walk/run flag and amend the actor behaviour accordingly.
