With the lag going on now it could be hours before your topic even shows up - it would be great to be able to choose to automatically subscribe when you create the topic.
Suggestion: put a toggle in the topic post screen to subscribe to your own topic

Unneeded. To view your own threads, you can go to Profile - Full Profile, let it load up, then click the Forums tab to find free Hyperlinks to topics of your own creation!
